  1. Although I feel privileged to be able to vote on this glosscars, I think limiting voting to trial box recipients is very unfair. All the products in the trial box won the winner. People are more likely to vote what they have been given for free, esp if they haven’t used any other product in the same category.

That said, personally I think trilogy, synergie and clinique are deserving winners in this instance. I’ve used products from other brands in those categories and I think these ones do perform well.

    • Yep, it certainly stacks the voting doesn’t it? I too have tried the Clinique moisturiser and I do love it, but I do wonder how many of the winners would have really won if the voting had been open to everyone.

    • I agree. It gives a very skewed result as you’re bound to vote on a product you’ve personally used so may often be the product that was included in the box. Sometimes I would skip that category entirely if it was one I didn’t have a chance to try so it wouldn’t be fair to vote on a product just because it was in the trial box. Then again, I haven’t received a trial box since the in-person events stopped.

It would have been much better to open the voting up to members who were at least silver and above to prevent people from just voting on their company brand, etc,

  2. Well deserved winners I’d say. I am very keen to buy Genefique Sensitive skin serum now, between ANR and Genefique (the older variant), I preferred ANR but very keen to use this new one 🙂

  3. hmmm a few brands I know in there and also never tried so hard to fathom if they would suit me also. I do wonder about some of these winners as I do see they were all in the glosscars box for the triallers to try and test. Have they won because they were trialled or honestly won because they are great products? This is where I get confused. I will say that I know Clinique and CeraVe definitely deserve to be on there. If I can use the other products perhaps I may try them to make up my own mind.

  4. I’ve always wanted to try Clinique Moisture Surge, I’m on a hunt for a new exfoliant running out of mine. The Ella Baché Defence+ Charcoal Micro Exfoliant looks great!

  5. Disappointing that all members can’t vote anymore. This really lowers the value of the Glosscars in my opinion because only a handful of people got to vote.
