Did any of your favourite skin care products take out an award?
Although I feel privileged to be able to vote on this glosscars, I think limiting voting to trial box recipients is very unfair. All the products in the trial box won the winner. People are more likely to vote what they have been given for free, esp if they haven’t used any other product in the same category.
That said, personally I think trilogy, synergie and clinique are deserving winners in this instance. I’ve used products from other brands in those categories and I think these ones do perform well.
Yep, it certainly stacks the voting doesn’t it? I too have tried the Clinique moisturiser and I do love it, but I do wonder how many of the winners would have really won if the voting had been open to everyone.
I agree. It gives a very skewed result as you’re bound to vote on a product you’ve personally used so may often be the product that was included in the box. Sometimes I would skip that category entirely if it was one I didn’t have a chance to try so it wouldn’t be fair to vote on a product just because it was in the trial box. Then again, I haven’t received a trial box since the in-person events stopped.
It would have been much better to open the voting up to members who were at least silver and above to prevent people from just voting on their company brand, etc,
I wholeheartedly agree SJ!
CeraVe products are so good for when your skin is sensitive.
Interesting group of winners
Well deserved winners I’d say. I am very keen to buy Genefique Sensitive skin serum now, between ANR and Genefique (the older variant), I preferred ANR but very keen to use this new one 🙂
I prefer ANR much much more
I tried the CeraVe cleanser and really liked it, especially for the price
Lots of deserving winners in the list, although I do wish we were all able to vote
Good to see trilogy made the winner’s list.
I like the CeraVe products and of course many of the other products.
There are so many of those products I’m yet to try so I don’t know if they are well deserved winners or not.
Congrats winners! I haven’t tried any from the list
Most of them are unknown to me.
Congratulations Manicare. I love my Thermal Sonic Cleanser.
hmmm a few brands I know in there and also never tried so hard to fathom if they would suit me also. I do wonder about some of these winners as I do see they were all in the glosscars box for the triallers to try and test. Have they won because they were trialled or honestly won because they are great products? This is where I get confused. I will say that I know Clinique and CeraVe definitely deserve to be on there. If I can use the other products perhaps I may try them to make up my own mind.
Some of the winning & runner-up products have no reviews, so it’s hard to take the results seriously.
@Misfortune I did notice that some of the winner’s have no reviews as I was interested to see what members said and nothing there so how come they win? Money talks I think.
Rigged maybe?
I second *mis8*. Just don’t take it too seriously
So many fab sounding products!
Only clinique moisture surge. The rest nope
Some lovely products have won. Thanks for letting us know.
The Manicare device is cool.
Clinique Moisture Surge 100H Auto Replenishing Hydrator – this is the only one that I have used. I did like it
I’ve always wanted to try Clinique Moisture Surge, I’m on a hunt for a new exfoliant running out of mine. The Ella Baché Defence+ Charcoal Micro Exfoliant looks great!
I have it and it is pretty good! It’s a big messy though
You should try Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant!
Haven’t tried any of these.
The trilogy serum looks nice
I would like to try the Skin Physics Face Mask.
Disappointing that all members can’t vote anymore. This really lowers the value of the Glosscars in my opinion because only a handful of people got to vote.
I’ve used that Clinique moisturiser & it’s great stuff! I love Essano Vitamin C serum, so I’m curious to try the Essano Vitamin C Super Glow Facial Oil.
so many I have my eye on now – the sugar baby cleansing pads are my kind of thing – must get these!
The Cerave cleanser is so good and very budget friendly and such a generous size too!
I’ve been looking for some cleansing pads, this article couldn’t have come at a better time
I’d like to try the winning cleanser and serum.
I’m familiar with some of the brands but none of the products
I have’nt used any of these, alot seem to be very new products that many BH members have tried, except for a few lucky 100 members.
I meant to say ‘have NOT tried” another frustrating thing about this site is the inability to edit comments
It’s hardly fair!
Very strange that not all BH members were eligible to vote!
I do love CeraVe!
A fantastic list and new ones I would love to give a try.
I haven’t tried any of the products listed above.
So good to know which products are awesome. Always love going through the Glosscars.
I love the Clinique moisturiser 🙂
