The Sukin radiance gel cleanser is another winner and frankly I have yet to try a Sukin product that I did not like. As it's a gel cleanser it works well for those with normal to oily skin. As my skin is oily and acne prone I prefer gel cleansers more than anything. The cleanser smells great, a fruity and fresh combo, and it foams up really well. The gel has a nice consistency and it's able to do a great job at cleaning my face and removing sunscreen. It contains ingredients like Kakadu plum which is great for brightening the skin. It also contains pineapple, papaya and mango. It's a great everyday cleanser and it doesn't dry out the skin or cause any irritation. My skin looks so much brighter after using this - definitely a must have if you want an affordable and natural skincare product!

I tried the Weleda pomegranate body wash after receiving it in a Weleda gift pack. I enjoy using body washes a lot more than soaps and this one is lovely. It is creamy and has a nice scent. The lather is nice and cleans my skin well. It's particularly nice for shaving too! I use it on my legs and it keeps the skin hydrated without leaving any residue behind. It's very gentle on the skin and the creamy body wash contains pomegranate seed oil, macadamia seed oil and sesame seed oil. It is also cruelty free, vegan and is free from sulphates.

This wonderful lip balm from Hemptuary is a hemp condition lip balm which comes in a round pot. It contains lots of nourishing ingredients like Manuka oil and hemp seed oil. The product melts into your lips on contact and leaves a nice sheen on the lips. The lip balm is quite thin in texture but feels nice. My personal preference when it comes to lip balms are sticks or tubes as it makes applying the product much easier. That would be my only critique of this product but I still really enjoy using it. It applies easily and it doesn't feel sticky or greasy. It's also suitable to wear underneath other lip products like lipstick as it will help to hydrate and protect your lips.

Thank you to BeautyHeaven and Nivea for the wonderful assortment of lip balms we received at the latest BeautyHeaven event. The Nivea hydro care with SPF 15 was one of the lip balms we received. This one would be classified as a classic lip balm, it does not contain any tint or colour. It just provides hydration for dry and cracked lips. As someone with dry lips this lip balm is great. It provides a good amount of hydration to my lips and I like that there is SPF in there as well for sun protection. It's so lightweight, easy to keep in your handbag and really convenient.

At the latest BeautyHeaven event we were lucky enough to receive four different kinds of Nivea lip balm products. The Nivea lip balm is non tinted so it won't provide any colour to your lips compared to the other two that we received. This is good if you have dry lips and need something for everyday wear. It comes in a tube and it's easy to apply, convenient and hygienic. The one we received also has SPF 15 which is good to have. It would've been nice if it had a higher SPF but it's better than nothing! Lips feel nicely coated, not sticky at all and it helps to get rid of the dryness.

As part of the BeautyHeaven event we were lucky enough to receive the Nivea Strawberry shine lip balm. As a lover of all things lip balm I was thrilled to try this out! The Nivea lip balms come in a tube and you have to wind up the product. I prefer this format because it's easier to use and much more hygienic. It glides on so smoothly and it has a buttery texture so the product just melts into your lips. It doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable and as the name suggests it provides a nice wash of colour, more of a pink hue that's subtle but adds a nice touch to the lips. It's convenient and easy to use for everyday wear.

At the most recent BeautyHeaven event we were lucky enough to receive the Antipodes eve bio-retinol line reduction serum. I like that 100% of the ingredients are natural and it's vegan. The serum contains ingredients like organic cacay oil, something I had never heard of before, which contains vitamin A. It also contains bakuchiol which I had heard of before as being a natural alternative to retinol. The serum is supposed to help with stimulating collagen and reducing wrinkles and fine lines which are things that I'm looking for a skincare product. Other ingredients include prickly pear oil and Kakadu plum oil which has high amounts of vitamin C. I apply several drops of the serum into my hands from the dropper and apply it all over my face and neck. While I have only been using it for almost two weeks, what I have noticed is that my skin feels hydrated and softer. It doesn't feel heavy on the face and you can layer it with a moisturiser too.

Removing makeup is never enjoyable but it's definitely a must. Using these Swisspers cleanser infused pads I think makes the process a lot easier and quicker! These are a convenient way to take your makeup off and the best part is that it gets activated with water. This is perfect for when you're travelling and don't want to be carrying around a huge pack of makeup wipes or a large bottle of micellar water. The pads are infused with argan oil and vitamin E so it feels gentle on the skin and keeps your skin hydrated. In terms of removing makeup I thought it was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's as good as micellar water but honestly can't complain! They are made of 100% pure cotton and are also biodegradable so it's environmentally friendly.

As part of the Beautyheaven event, we received the Glow Lab hydrating conditioner, along with the matching shampoo, to try out. I am very familiar with Glow Lab and have used many products from the brand. The large sized bottle means I will be using this conditioner for months to come and I'm ok with that! I love the pump format - makes it so easy to use in the shower. The conditioner is creamy and smells just like coconut, as one of the ingredients is coconut oil. It also contains argan oil and vitamin E, great ingredients for the hair! I apply the conditioner to the middle and ends of my hair, leave it in for a couple of minutes and then wash it out. Instantly my hair feels so much softer and manageable. Brushing my hair was so easy, no knots or tangled hair. The level of hydration the conditioner provided was good - it won't weigh your hair down or leave any residue behind. It's a great conditioner that you can use all year round.

As part of the BeautyHeaven event I received the Glow Lab hydrating shampoo along with the matching conditioner to try out. The size is quite large so I will be using this shampoo for awhile! I like that it's a pump format which makes it so easy to use in the shower. No need to open up a cap or pour the contents out. Plus I really like the packaging of the bottles, it looks so expensive and luxurious. The shampoo contains argan oil which is great for hydrating the hair and taming frizz. It also contains shea butter, avocado oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E to help nourish the hair. It lathers up well and it smells really nice. Even though it's moisturising it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave any residue. On the cleansing side of things it did a great job - scalp and hair felt clean. The product is cruelty free and doesn't contain any silicones, parabens, sulphates or mineral oil. It's a really great shampoo and would be suitable for those with normal to dry hair.
