What to do?

Hello beauties, I’m not sure whether this topic fits under make-up, but I’m just wondering:

What do you do when you get to the bottom of a pressed powder, and there are still some left stuck to the edge of the case? You know, when the brush no longer picks up the powder…

I’ve tried getting them out with some kind of apparatus, but it is always messy and not very effective, so I usually just give up and chuck it all in the bin. Such a waste though. What do you ladies do?
