To DIY or not to DIY?

It sounds like it will be awsome, I would normally say go for it, do it yourself, but not when you are going from dark to light, if it was not dyed in the first place it would have been ok, but it will need to be somewhat stripped to get the darker colour out before you go lighter. Let us know how you get on darl 🙂

I agree that you need to go to a salon, Yvette. Your hair will be gorgeous, I love the sound of the colour!!

Yeah i thought being my hair very dark, DIY dye would just make it crap and damaged….. Wishful thinking though!

I`m sure you`ll look stunning! Honey colours are definately in right now anyway. Miranda Kerr has a lovley honey brown happening. So pretty.

I would never lighten my hair myself. Would rather trust a professional in lightening. Darkening is fine to do but to reverse would be pretty tricky.

Now for the advice, I would have to say GO TO SALON!

If you were just a shade or two in either direction it wouldn`t be a prob but to got a fair bit lighter would definately go to salon babe.
