i have similar hair to yours and i usually ask for long layers and a side swept fringe, with some shorter layers around the face. the layers will take out some of the volume (you can also ask for the hairdresser to thin your hair out as well) and will add some texture to your hair.
Bev I love the look of long straight thick hair in a classy ponytail – so neat and classy. This especially looks great if the `scrunchie` is of contrasting colour to the hair. My daughter has blonde straight thick hair and it looks absolutely beeeeuuutiful in a classy pony – simple but highly impressive!
hey, get layers and if you want something really drastic maybe a just under shoulder length bob. try something really dramatic. also like i said before get layers to make your hair thinner and try jagged layers instead of your average layers. i got them and prefer them than the normal ones. also ask your hairdresser. they probably know best. xxx
Bev, I don`t know how long your hair is, but maybe you could get it cut to a smart bob – kind of like a Posh spice bob, but maybe shorter. With thick, straight hair I can imagine it would sit very nicely.
