St Tropez spray flop

Hi ladies 🙂
I just thought I would leave a little note for all of you tanners out there wanting to try out the David Jones beauty bar (temporary) St Tropez booth…..dont.
I am a seasoned pro at fake tans and use St Tropez religiously at home so was delighted when I found out that they were doing a booth at David Jones over xmas. I took my pastey butt up to DJ’s last night and after my first coat, I couldnt even see it. The second coat went on an although I could see colour, it was no where near anything I had previously done before. I asked the lady who was spraying me to make it dark but she said they only come in 1 colour and however dark I go, thats it, there’s no changing it.
After a few hours I had developed but not as dark as I had liked (just similar to one coat doing it at home. Normally if I am going out, I will do it 2 nights in a row to get a deeper colour) and it was basically the same when I woke up this morning.
I went with a friend of mine who is naturally olive and although she is darker too, only probably a shade or two.
Both of us left feeling quite disappointed and will make sure not to go back there.
Dont get me wrong, the lady was lovely and its not her fault (Iguess) but its just not the right spray tan for me as I want to be really dark. I will stick with my usual from now on.
Also while I am here, has anyone tried Bronzalicious?

    Hi Skinnystudd,

I look after the PR for St Tropez and am very sorry to hear about your disappointment with the DJ’s booth! Sounds like you are a tan aficionado and perhaps you need a couple of extra coats. Would you be interested in sending the Beautyheaven girls your details so we can arrange something for you to rectify your experience?
