Nicole Kidman

Just saw on the news that she is being blackmailed by some sort of Scientology group who would release some sort of book with details of her sex life in it….must be because Tom is bored already.

Also her kids call Katie ‘mum’ instead of her. Poor woman. I hope her life gets better with Keith.

I think she`s great. She tries to keep things private as much as possible, whilst also realising that her job (and keiths) demands a certain amount of offering up private details to the public.

I love the way they released official pic at the wedding, and didn`t sell out a private moment. As much as I would have LOVED to see it all in a glossy mag. She has class that lady!

Congrats to her on the prg

Not me, I was in grade 4 or 5 then but I still snuck out to watch it on TV, like Beverly Hills. If my parents knew and caught me…!

Well all`s I can say is thank god my man`s Mum didn`t think she was too old at 39, or the best thing that ever happened to me(-my man) would not have been born.

GG is right and there can be more complications for women having pregnancies later in life and therefore more tests are carried out to ensure there are no problems for the mother or child. That said women can still go on to have healthy children in their 40`s and a lot of women are prolonging to have children later in life.

Complications do get more common the older you get (from 35 onwards) With the risk of miscarriage and genetic disorders (Downs Syndrome etc) increasing. Madonna had her son when she was 42 and Geena Davis had twins at 47! Woman that use IVF later in life it`s usually unsuccessful and if it is successful it usually ends in miscarriage – usually because the quality of your eggs released starts to decline the older you get. BUT that doesn`t mean you can`t try (or keep trying) when you are 40 onwards. I do think mid to late 40`s is getting on a bit and definitely 50 is too old (my opinion for two reasons 1- I`m 27 and my mum is 52 and she is a Grandmother, and 2- I think a child deserves it`s parents to be around when they grow up and in adulthood.) I say good luck to Nicole – it has finally happened for her after years and years of trying.
