Nivea have always got something fun and useful, and now they have made a product that can protect my hands AND reduce existing sun damage! I used this each time before leaving the house or office.The click-top lid is secure so no worries about handbag spillage. The cream is the standard gluggy white stuff, with a faint soap-like fragrance. Feels rich, absorbs well, and leaves a silky feeling afterwards. And what did it do? My hands felt hydrated after the first use, and no additional visible damage occured from beign out in the sun. The cream felt like it completely washed off after hand-washing but I've not found a suncream yet that can stay on (I forgive you). After a few days of use I was applying the same amount so this product is more a skin barrier than a moisturiser. After a couple of weeks of use I have noticed a slight reduction in pigment on the back of my hands, but have not yet noticed any wrinkle reduction. This product is an effective sun protectant and temporary moisturiser, with effects that benefit as long as it lasts on your hands.

I initially bought this product only as my normal strawberry variety was unavailable. I hesitated about this for a while as I was concerned the colour would be too dark. ~~Serendipity~~ Now it's my fave tinted lip balm! The package is thicker than most other competitors, however container style is just the same - click to close, twist to apply. The container colour stands out well so I can always find it in my cupboard or bag. The product itself has a subtle berry fragrance but I could not detect a flavour (which is fine, sometimes they are sickly sweet). The shade is not as strong as I feared as a lighter-skinned person, and it will last as long as your next several sips of water. There is no tacky residue nor dryness, and even after colour fade my lips felt moisturised for a while afterwards (must be those natural oils). This was also great to use when I was recovering from a prolongued illness in hospital, as the colour was enough to bring some life to my face without overdoing it. I will buy this again as it's now my favourite (seeing "limited edition" makes me sad!). Nivea, please combine this with SPF for a great all-in-one product?

I never believed the reviews about 24-hour moisturisation for a hand cream, but when I found this on special I had to bite the bullet. Besides, this product is from a well-known naturals brand and is the ideal size to keep in a handbag. I used this product initially after each hand-washing to plump up my hands. Then I included any time my hands felt dry (looking at you, airconditioned office!). The click-top lid is secure so no worries about handbag spillage there. The cream is like one of its sister products - standard gluggy white stuff, with the faintest fragrance of ??. Feels nice and cool with a slight watery feel. My hands loooooved this and my first uses saw me use more of the product than normal (sorry, skin!). So what happened? It instantly hydrated my hands without the lingering greasy slimy feeling. After a few days of use I needed to apply less product as it seemed to be doing the trick. At first use, after washing my hands, they still felt quite supple. I don't know about 24hour moisturisation but this product really does seem to work! I will buy this again, and recommend it to anyone wanting to give their hands some proper TLC. If Aveeno could combine this with a sunscreen and have the same end result, I would be a very happy bunny!!

24 hour moisturisation? Yes please! I was impressed with the sample-size sachets of this product and then had the perfect excuse to buy this product fullsize (I ran out of my normal moisturiser). I used this product on my face and body after showering to help lock in moisture, and anywhere I felt dry and needed a top-up during the day. The cream itself is nothing special - thick and white like any other moisturiser, and has no obvious fragrance. It felt a little more watery than creamy after application (maybe due to the colloidal outmeal?), and my skin drank this right up. What did it do? Well, it helped moisturise my skin for quite a while, and the ingredients made me feel reassured that no nasties were being sent into my body. No filmy residue was left, and my skin felt supple even after first use. Seems to sweat off easily but easy to reapply like any similar product. I would recommend this as safe to use for anyone wanting to moiturise their skin, and will look out for this again (hopefully in a much bigger bottle like one of its competitors).

Purchased for my husband when this was on special over his usual product (other brand). The can colour is non-distincive so can be easily hidden at the rear of a cabinet. Storage and application is nothing special. The fragrance is pleasant and ideal to cover odours in our tropical climate. Unfortunately my husband found there to be no anti-perspirant property and likened this to wearing only a cologne on his arm pits. He applies rather generously so we don't believe it was from incorrect application. He used this on a day when walking from car to work building, so no particular exertion happened. This product has a good price for quantity but perhaps not ideal for those living in warm climates. Sorry Nivea, he will not use this range again and will revert to the other brand.

Never had an issue with this brand prior, and I will still purchase from this brand. Just not this product (sorry). Sadly I found this product to be like the old-fashioned compact powder - heavy and obvious. It also appeared quite orange on my fairer-shade skin. Fortunately there were no sunburns or streak lines, so it did protect my skin. It seemed to work fine for I will not buy this again as it did not match my skin and I'm after a lighter, more natural-looking and feeling product. This may suit people with darker skin shades than mine or as a makeup base.

I was fortunate to be invited to trial this product and have not used Cetaphil in recent years. This product is designed for use on both face and body, and comes in a generous size. I was interested to test its fast-absorption and the fact that it is fine to use under makeup (so often they are not). My confused skin likes to range from oily, normal to dry and I often end up with greasy sunscreens that make me feel even more disgusting if I also apply makeup. This product has a stand-out orange and white package with a secure clip-lock lid (reassuring when storing in your fave handbag!). Application is nothing special – squeeze the tube and apply in small amounts at first, ensuring good coverage. The texture is pleasantly light and with no overpowering fragrance, and it did seem to absorb quickly. If I applied too much in one area there was obvious greasiness buildup. There was a tad increase of noticeable shine but I’ve never had a sunscreen that doesn’t do this, and it could be corrected with makeup if needed. I didn’t notice anything remarkable with water resistance and it largely came off during exercise (sweat sessions), but I don’t mind reapplying. Thanks Cetaphil, I've now got another quality option for a quality SPF50 sunscreen!

Retinol is highly-desired for its youth elixir properties, and I’ll join the queue of people keen to see these benefits. My face has a never-ending appetite for moisture and now that it is showing more signs of aging, I am truly thankful to test this out. I used it nightly in place of my other serum to continue my skin’s care routine. Like its eyecream counterpart, the product is housed in a nice purple container with a striking silver lid. The lid design is quite clever as it allows for auto-dispensing when you unscrew the lid; this can be changed to manual. The texture is nothing remarkable and there is no fragrance. My skin greedily slurped this formula up so I used more than I intended. There was no greasy residue and with continued use, I found I used a little less each time. After application, my skin felt smoother and looked hydrated, and I did not experience any skin irritation. Whilst I’ve not seen a reduction in lines, I can say that my overall skintone has improved and I expect it would continue to a point with ongoing use. I recommend this serum if retinol is your thing, and i would consider replacing my old serum with this one. Whilst it may be on the pricier side, it does deliver good results in a short time.

I’m thankful to have been allowed to trial this product along with the eyecream. I’ve never used retinol before and have only heard the negatives of tingling skin, awful reactions with the sun, etc. Thankfully this product is a night cream which allayed some of those concerns. The product arrives inside a clear and silver box, and is housed within a pretty purple glass jar with metallic silver lid. The creamy white texture and fragrance is unremarkable, which suits night time application just fine (who wants their senses overwhelmed after a long tired day!). I used this each night after my shower. Upon application it feels moisturising and a bit heavy, so start off small! Fortunately I experienced no irritation the whole time I’ve used this. After several days I noticed my eye area had a slight reduction in fine lines as well as a more even skintone (bye-bye shadows!). I enjoyed looking more awake than I felt! Give this product a try if retinol is for you. It does improve skin after several days’ use, and I expect it will remain as effective with continued use.

The NBN powder containers are so beautiful to display on my counter with their rose-gold lids and transparent glass. They also easily show how much product is remaining. The standout is the in-built sieve which releases a little powder at a time, and is controlled by a small ‘cap’ from the lid to prevent it spilling everywhere when it is not being used. These features walk all over other products with a secondary lid that you somehow have to open to get to the underlying powder without making ginormous mess and wastage! I applied this as my final step to my makeup application each morning before heading to work. Before opening the lid I would gently shake the container to make some powder available through the sieve. Application was easy – dip your preferred brush into the powder and gently swirl, tap off excess, and gently sweep across your face (with focus on your t-zone and under your eyes). Coverage wasn't visible, there was no makeup smear nor greasy feeling, and the powder did not fall. I was really impressed with my not noticeably oily t-zone even after the day in my tropical climate - that says a lot! I also had a few compliments from colleagues who said I looked well-rested (ha!) – this may have been due to the light-reflecting particles which I credit with hiding my wrinkles! I recommend this to set and preserve your look through the day. If you need further convincing, the key ingredients - Kakadu Plum, Vitamin C, Kaolin Clay - may even be good for you!
