Have to say i stole these tips from madison magazine but got sent on newsletter yesterday & you should know!! tips for wearing make up under glasses:

Rule 1: Use a brow pencil to accentuate, rather than hide, your brows.

Rule 2: Dab on concealer to avoid exaggerated circles under eyes.

Rule 3: Curl your lashes and choose a shimmery eye shadow. This will widen eyes and draw attention for all the right reasons.

One of the comments I couldnt go past also said:
My rules are: 1. The heavier the frame – the lighter the eyemakeup, but make sure you wear a more definite lip colour to balance the frame. 2. Use volumising mascara not lengthening ones so that your lashes don`t touch the glasses. 3. If you`re wearing glasses with lenses that make your eyes appear smaller, be careful not to wear dark eyeshadow so your eyes don`t appear smaller.

I only got glasses yesterday after failing last weeks eye test badly haha so will be on this forum for all the advice you girls have. Was like an omen being sent these tips today though my first day of wearing them. Wish me luck.

Different strengths of lenses can also make the eyes appear smaller or larger so you may need to play up or play down your eye makeup.

Your lenses may also be partially responsible, like if they`re anti-glare or tinted they may not show much of the makeup through because those are non-clear layers Just a thought…

I wear glasses for driving and I like to play up my eyes by curling my lashes, wearing mascara and eyeshadow. Maybe if you want your eyes to be the focus point then play up your eyes and just wear a neutral tone lip colour. I think just experimenting at home with different colours is the best way to find out what works for you.
