Long Lasting

I am looking for a perfume that has a great smell that is long lasting. I hate it when I put on some perfumes that I spent $100 on and the smell only last till I walk out the door. I apply enough of it so it can be smelt though do not want to soak myself it in.

An EDP will last you hours longer than an EDT… as it is more highly concentrated…
Also if you stick with reputable houses (Armarni, Dior, D&G) you will be sure of exceptional quality

Layering the scent also helps. Using the same fragranced bodywash, moisturizer and the perfume.

Do any families last lnoger than others, or are they all the same – e.g. do spices last longer than oriental types?

With perfume, the smell you can smell only lasts for a few seconds because your nose gets used to it quickly (you know like bad smells). As you have top notes, middle notes and finally the lasting base notes, other people should still be able to smell it hours later. You know when you walk down the street and you get a whiff of somebody drenched in perfume? You should only be able to smell ones perfume when you are standing close to them – not 4 meters away! Also you can refresh your scent by dabbing a little water on where it was sprayed on your body.
