How to POST A NEW THREAD!!

hahaha thank you! I’ve been searching for ever to find out how to do it!

OMG!!! i’ve been a member for almost 2 years and never know how to post a new thread! this is my first one! so here’s to all the new members and old ones like myself that dont know how to post a NEW THREAD!

1. select “All Forums” tab
2. a list of forums will come… select which topic is related to what you want to post.
3. once selected on the top right corner of the table it will say “New Topic”
4. select it and start your new post!!!

Don’t forget to check that there isn’t already a thread for what you want to discuss.
Sometimes it can be better to bump an old thread than start a new one.
We don’t want lots of threads on best blush? or what do you think of brand x?

So basically see if the topic your interested in has already been posted and if it hasn’t and it is during business hours- go for it.

OMG thank-you I have trying to find out how to start a new thread for ages!!

I can’t post a new thread either! 🙁 I shall try tomorrow morning and see if I have any luck then. Maybe the admins should make it that you can only post a new thread after being active for a certain period? and can only post new threads every so often. Just a suggestion, not sure if it would help or not. 🙂

Katfish, I doubt that you’ll be able to start a new thread tomorrow. BH was inundated with relentless spam last year (most of it was in the evening). The spam was promoting new movies, sports events etc. In response to this, BH decided to stop people from posting new threads in the evening and on the weekend. You will have to wait until Monday to start a new thread. Alternatively, you can search the forums for a thread title that’s similar to what you want and post your comments there.

Phew that’s a relief! I wanted to post a new topic but saw the spam msg a few weeks ago. Tried again tonight after seeing the creation of other new threads but couldn’t- thought I’d been labelled a spammer! I shall try again tomorrow during the day sometime 🙂 thanks Petal!

SO I can’t post a new thread – I get a message saying that it’s a short term solution due to so much spam. But then all those slightly spammy new posts are coming up! How?! I’m confused 🙂 ANyone else experienced this? 🙂

I think it’s only after 6pm because that is when the spammers do their thang. You can start new threads during the day, or do a search and resurrect an old thread related to your query. HTH!
