I have tried a few different niacinamide serums and they all leave behind a clear, sticky film. This serum is no different. It didn’t irritate my skin but it left behind the same tacky, tight-feeling film and doesn’t layer well underneath other products. If you like serums like The Ordinary then you will probably like this. I like niacinamide but these kinds of clear serums just don’t work for my skin.

This is such a lovely serum to use. It smells great, is super moisturising and layers well under other products. I didn’t notice much brightening so I think this is a very gentle vitamin c serum suitable for sensitive skin. I enjoyed using it and liked the hydration boost but not sure i would repurchase. The bottle is only 20ml so maybe it works better over a longer period. I would buy again if it came in a bigger bottle (30ml is a standard size), i went through this in only a few weeks. Nice moisturising serum for travel.

This luscious moisturiser contains a laundry list of nutritious plant oils - marula, rosehip, evening primrose, jojoba, carrot seed - as well as soothing oat extract, so i thought it would be a perfect fit for my dry skin. It doesn’t irritate but it doesn’t moisturise enough either, it actually makes my skin feel as though it has a tight layer over it. Probably better for people who like a lighter moisturiser, although i don’t consider it light. It’s really lovely on my neck and chest but maybe not quite enough for my face.

I really enjoyed using this vitamin c serum for a few weeks. It brightened my skin, evened out my skintone and cleared up some blemishes. It was pleasant to apply and i liked the fact that you activate it yourself by mixing the powder with the hydrating medium. Vitamin c oxidises quickly so i like that this product is only designed to last a few weeks (mine lasted 3 weeks using morning and evening) but at $40 it is a pricey addition to my routine, so i won’t purchase again. If they packaged it in a set of 4 or reduced the price i might consider it but i don’t want to have to replace it every few weeks.

So disappointed in this mascara after all the raves. The brush is pokey and uncomfortable, the tube is huge and chunky and i don’t get the volume everyone else seems to get, and not much length either. Lashes felt brittle and stuck together. I normally like wet formulas so i thought this would be a good bet, but Maybelline has much better mascara than this. I will try the version with argan oil and see if it suits me better.

I don’t use waterproof mascara very often because removal is difficult but my preferred waterproof mascara was out of stock and i was in a hurry, so i picked up this cheapie for $5. It’s fine, lives up to waterproof claims and is easier to get off than others i have tried in the past, probably because it doesn’t go on as thickly. Good for a natural look but doesn’t offer much volume. Essence have a few other WP mascaras in their range so I would probably try lash princess next.

This is my favourite waterproof mascara. It provides loads of volume and is truly waterproof. Like all WP mascara it is harder to get off at the end of the day but will come off with micellar or oil cleanser. Makes my lashes look fluffy and big. Can be applied lightly for a more subtle look. Better than the non-WP version. Highly recommend for wet climates, swimming and tearful occasions.

I am torn on this mascara. It has a very strong tendency to clump. It provides plenty of volume and is buildable but the dry clumpiness is very unappealing. It just doesn’t seem very smooth and doesn’t work well over primer. When it works it looks great but when it doesn’t, it is dry and crumbly. I need a mascara that is consistent. I might try it again in case i got a bad batch but i won’t hold my breath.

Like the conditioner this shampoo smells of luscious ripe mangoes and i enjoy using it. The packaging is clean and simple and the shampoo is silicone free. My hair takes a bit of a beating sometimes and this shampoo and conditioner smooth it out and help repair it. The shampoo is very moisturising and can be a little heavy, and it seems to strip out my colour faster than other other brands. I don’t like the fact that klorane have an excellent non-aerosol dry shampoo that is still not available in Australia and they have a lot of pro-environmental guff on their website so i don’t know why we can’t get it. Maybe because it will affect sales of their aerosol based dry shampoo range? It bothers me so i will avoid Klorane in future.

This rich, creamy conditioner feels very nourishing. It has a lush, tropical mango scent. I have long, fine hair prone to crazy tangles and this conditioner makes it much easier to comb them out. I only need a little which is good because if I use too much it weighs down my hair. It reminds me of palmer’s coconut conditioner, which I will buy over this in future because it bothers me that Klorane claim to be environmentally conscious yet refuse to release their non-aerosol dry shampoo, which is amazing, onto the Australian market.
