Does she need to go Hospital or sleep it off?

My sis 14 yr old was accidently kicked in the head really hard when sitting on a field a s a ball wen past her head and a boy missed instead got her head.

She came home and said it didn’t hurt but says it hurts now where she was kicked. Also light headed and saysshe feels like shes “dying slowly”.

this boy died after being bashed then going to sleep .

Why is she hurting now?

If she sleeps does it mean she dies?

EDIT: i did tell her about this article when she came home but was not worried but 5 hours later she is in pain.

Yay! Glad to hear that she is ok Mexox, a visit to hospital always means a lot of time waiting but at least that way she recieved a good check over and care. Hopefully she will be feeling like herself again in no time.

Phew. I’m glad she’s ok now, this thread taught me that head injuries are bad and they need to be treated…I guess i am the type to just sleep it off.

Your so wise beautystar thanks for your help.

    My sis is fine now!
She came back 3:30 in the morning that’s 6 and a half hours later. There was a lot of waiting time but the docs checked her out and gave her pain medicine and said she was suffering from a mild head injury and sent her home. They gave a leaflet that shows how to take care of her the next 48 hours and the warning signs to watch out for that is exactly what beautystar wrote.
But they said it is alright for her to sleep but she has to be woken every 4 hours to be checked on as the warning signs mean to go straight to hospital.

When she came back though she was acting fine and she wasn’t in pain anymore, saying it was from the powerful pain meds they gave her there. She was like “i can’t feel anything” and all smilly. Totally the opposite when she left. She’s asleep now but fine.

Life lesson learnt: always check out a head injury at the docs.
