I’m always on the hunt for a good gentle cleanser with clean ingredients that won’t be too harsh on anyone’s skin (as my skin is ridiculously temperamental and sensitive to everything!) and this cleanser ticked all the boxes so I had to try it! What can I say, I’m super impressed. First off: Smell: 9/10. Not too strong, light hint of something fresh like mint/cucumber. Really pleasant and fresh scent. Texture: 10/10. light sage gel like consistency made up of a few gentle ingredients that I usually look out for in my cleansers. The effect: 10/10. Where can I start- the cleanser cleans really well and you walk out of the shower feeling like your face is very clean and ready to lay on skincare! The really impressive thing is, it’s honestly very gentle on the skin so you don’t feel tight or like moisture got pulled out of the skin, this is due to the type of cleansers they have chosen which is free of SLS and other drying ingredients commonly found in drugstore brands. I gently pump a small 5 cent amount and lather it gently on my wet face in the shower and get an amazing clean out of this cleanser. Currently, it’s my favourite go to morning cleanser as I always feel so fresh after using it! It’s super suitable for sensitive skin as theres very little ingredients in it that could set off skin so this checks all the boxes for me! I will be constantly repurchasing this cleanser.

I loved this exfoliator! It was extremely gentle with the texture being that of a creamy consistency- it was white and smelt pleasant. The smell for this exfoliator was not overwhelming, it had a light hint of cucumber and mint that I really like. I used this exfoliator about 3 times weekly which I think is enough, I loved that after using it I feel that my fave is cleansed a lot deeper than usual. The only thing that took the 5 star away for me was the beads- they are a bit on the harsher side (nothing like St Ives) but I wish it was a touch more gentle as the beads are a bit big. However, can’t fault the rest of the formula- it’s really nice! I would definitely look at repurchasing this again as I was very impressed with this exfoliator and the cleanser in the same range (which is super gentle). As my skin is quite sensitive, I especially concentrated on exfoliating with the daily detox exfoliator on my neck and under the chin where the skin can get quite oily and grime from the day. It’s been amazing for the neck!

I was really excited to try out this brightening clay mask! Like the range that biore released, it stays true to a fruity scent which is flavoured by papaya and yuzu lemon. As such, it comes off very citrus scented which if you’re a fan of, would smell really pleasant to you! Each tube has about 4-5 uses depending on how thick you usually apply your clay masks. I have had about 2 uses thus far and think there is plenty left in the packet for like 5-6 uses probably. I really liked this mask! Left it to set on my skin for about 10 minutes and then washed it off. It’s important to wash it off in the given time as it is a clay based mask so if you do not do so, they it cna drawn moisture out of your skin and dry it out. Anyways, so it definitely helped to refine my skin as I found that it took out some sebum and excess oils that I was producing since it’s now summer. I find that for several days after using this mask, my skin is less oily!

This exfoliator used little soft beads to gently exfoliate away dead skin. It smells really nice and fruity, which is in line with the rest of its range. Being of Yuzu, lemon and dragonfruit flavour, I would say it’s more of a citrus scent. The packaging is really fruity and fun! It would suit teenagers to use or young adults for when your skin is feeling/looking dull. Biore claims on the tube that you will see brighter skin in 1 week, which I think would be true if you aren’t already incorporating some kind of exfoliant into your skincare routine (like a chemical one that is BHA it AHA based). I used this about 2 times a week since my skin is sensitive so I don’t like to use physical scrubs too much. I found this good to add into my routine since we’re going into summer right now and the build up of sweat, oil and sunscreen means I need something at least weekly to scrub those hard layers off when chemical exfoliants just don’t cut it. This was definitely a gentle enough scrub for this job and I’ll happily repurchase it!

I love this cleanser! It smells really citrus-y and fresh like fruit so if you’re into that it’s a massive plus! I love washing my face with this cleanser in the morning as the smell is so refreshing and delicious. It’s very gentle on the skin so I don’t feel tight after using it. Cleanses well with just a bit of product and was easy to wash off. Foams up a bit but not too much so I didn’t find it drying which is good. I would say this is a pretty gentle and basic everyday cleanser. Haven’t used it for long enough to know if there are brightening effects to it as tbh cleanser isn’t really a product that sits on your face for long enough to produce that effect (versus serums with niancinimide and vitamin c.. etc which do brighten your face). However I find that the cleanser cleanses well without leaving residue such that ur skin feels clean after using it. Overall I would recommend this cleanser as a morning cleanser!

Hey ladies I was super excited but apprehensive to try this mascara before I applied for the trial as I have asian eyelashes (aka straight lashes) and for some odd reason, western branded mascaras tend to straight my lashes (even if i've curled them) once i've applied mascara. As in, with many brands, i've found that mascara will weigh down my eye lashes unless I'm using a Japanese or asian brand. Anyways, just a disclosure that it happened with this mascara as well- but for any asian ladies who also suffer from the same annoying straight lashes issue, the way I got around it was to use a white mascara base (I use this japanese branded one but i'm sure there are many on the market) and they not only elongate your lashes and add some volume, but it sets the shape of your lashes so you can still use excellent mascaras from western brands without worrying about your lashes going straight. So I did that and I really liked this mascara! But I decided to give it to my friend to trial as she's indian with lovely luscious and voluminous lashes which are (most importantly) already curled to begin with. This was her verdict: (+) Doesn't clump! (+) Can add multiple coats without worrying about it clumping, or having bits of mascara unattractively stuck to lashes (+) Volumn added can be adjusted by layer of coats since the brush is well controlled to allow for multiple coats (+) Long staying powder, didn't smudge after a night out onto her bottom lids which is important (-) Doesn't seem to be waterproof

I really liked this eye liner! I wear black eyeliner everyday (it's my staple look haha) so it's pretty important to me that the brush thickness is thin enough to give me a clean cut look but also thick enough to ensure that the brush doesn't run dry after a certain period of time (since that has happened in the past with some of my other eyeliners). This one is perfect! PROS: - Perfect width to give you precision when drawing your wing --> I found it easy to draw my end half with it then connect the wing to the front. It's also thick enough to allow you to fill in the gaps later once you've made your initial clean line - Staying power is pretty good! My lids can get pretty oily sometimes but it's been winter lately so as far as I can tell, it lasts me from morning to night which i'm stoked about - It doesn't seem to be waterproof though, my eyes were pretty tired so they got a bit teary this other day and it kinda patched off a little on the corner but I just kept it in my handbag and zwoomp drew the wing back on- easy! - Good size that seems like it'd last for a few months before it runs out! - Perfect for the handbag

I loooooooooooooove this face oil and I've tried quite a lot under the sun- rosehip oil, chia seed oil, camellia oil (which is really nice actually, similar density to facial skin!), blends of oils from many brands and other not as nice oils that I can't be bothered naming. This is a key player for my winter routine! - 2-3 drops is all you need for hydration --> drop oil on your finger tips and pat it so it spreads on all of your finger tips. Gently pat it on top of your face starting from the areas that are the driest (cheeks, forehead, chin, etc). - Beautiful woody scent of herbs and florals; all nice stuff that you know is going to do you good, absolutely no irritants or annoying perfumes that are going to just set off sensitive skin. Jurlique is great for us ladies with sensitive skin that reacts to anything and everything; they never put in ingredients that aren't beneficial or serve a purpose (like perfumes and other preservatives which are the common culprits that irritate our skin!) - Blends into your skin really fast- is thin once patted into your face. - In Winter, I usually use this after all my toners, serums, gels have been applied. Then I tend to pat the thinnest layer on top before patting on my moisturiser on top (to seal everything in). I love doing this, as it reduces the amount of moisturiser I need to use, which in turn reduces the amount of residue just sitting there on my face. Thus, I wake up in the morning with very hydrated skin that is soft and smooth without any gunk- it's amazing! The oil absorbs beautifully and gives you a glowing and smooth complexion in winter, providing the hydration needed during those dry and windy winter months. Yessss please! - I probably do it every 2nd day or so in winter or sometimes everyday, depends how dry or windy it is. In summer, I may use the oil around once or twice a week, usually on the same days that i've used a deep cleansing clay mask or exfoliant, to make sure i'm replenishing my face oils so the natural balance of my skin is not disrupted.

This exfoliant is a little different- it smells, looks and feels like porridge (mixed with a few pleasant herbs). The lady at Jurlique explained that the way to use this exfoliant is 'press and release'. It has a creamy porridge consistency and you're meant to press it onto your face and repeatedly do that gently with some combinations of sloooow circular motions. Then, you simply wash it off. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with Jurlique products, finding them to be void of any harmful ingredients that might set my face off. Likewise, this leaves my face refreshed and smelling nice- no irritation or redness whatsoever. However, I'm not quite sure if it made a huge impact on my skin in terms of smoothness or brightening. Overall, it was pleasant to use, however I ended up not finishing the very large and generously sized tube of the cream as there was way too much product to be used up in the 6 months or so that you're recommended to keep it for. I didn't find myself reaching out to this everyday as it was an extra step in my care routine that I wasn't sure was giving me any notable effects. I probably will not be re-purchasing this product, but I know that it is a sworn product for many other ladies out there so I believe on the right skin type it will be beneficial in their daily routine. I'm just not finding it to do the job right now in the summer months as my skin is producing more sebum and is more oily; but on harsh windy winter days it'll be a good exfoliant for daily upkeep that doesn't harm your skin. Ideally, this would really suit those who are looking for the most gentle exfoliant possible- who have very delicate skin that does not do well being tugged around or sloughed at. It's even more gentle than those exfoliants which turn from gel into small beads (which is what I use right now during the summer and hot weather days) so those with delicate and sensitive skin would find this exfoliant to be a great alternative.

Shade: 04 Soft pink Usually I don't wear lip liners during the day due to pure laziness, but i have been using this liner for dinners and events to ensure my lips stay neat! This is a great companion with the Nude by Nature Creamy Matte lipsticks, but I also use it with matching nude shades for my other lipsticks as I find it to be well-pigmented, butter like smooth and has great longevity. It adds life to my creamier lipsticks, so I know that they will definitely stretch an extra mile with it. I have sort of uneven lips so I love using this lip liner to clean around the edges and make sure everything looks level and well-balanced.
