Cetaphil….. your thoughts?

Does anyone with acne prone skin use this range?
I use a Dermaolgica Cleanser which is ok but I’d like to try something different when it runs out and was thinking of going down the Cetaphil road as it’s cheaper also
I’m just a bit hesitant as I don’t know too much about this range but appreantly a lot of Dermatologists recommend it?

Plenty of customers agree that Cetaphil is one of the better cleansers on the market. And I personally think that it’s one of the best.

The big 1L pump bottles are on sale for $15 atm (40% off they say, but I reckon it`s like $5 off their actual normal everyday price).

Wondering if I should get the Gentle Skin Cleanser or Shower & Bath Oil… has anyone tried both?

I`ve used Cetaphil`s oily skin version, and it worked great at first but my skin started flaking and became even more oilier afterwards, so I switched to Clean & Clear. It works better for my acne in any case.

Clean and Clear is brutal! But if it works for you then go with it!
I thought Cetaphil was nice and gentle. But it all depends on your individual skin type 🙂

I used to use the oily skin cleanser. It`s actually quite gentle. The gentle cleanser is super super gentle but not really enough to clean my skin properly. The strong fragrance of the oily skin cleanser eventually put me off so I stopped using it.

I am not sure they are really non comedogenic because I`ve seen the list of individual ingredients and some of these ingredients are actually comedogenic. There is no regulation surrounding the statement that a product is `non comedogenic` so it can be misleading. Company`s say all sorts of things and it may not be true.

Anyway I find trial and error is best as some things that are comedogenic for some people may not be for others.

I have such a love-hate relationship with Cetaphil! I like the cleanser because it`s super gentle (I usually use Clinique`s Mild Cleanser but in winter it can feel a bit drying). BUT I can`t shake the feeling that it`s clogging my acne-prone skin :S

The reason I use the moisturiser is if I use anything richer or with oil in it, I get white bumps around my eye area. Not so with Cetaphil!
I wonder if they do a scrub that you could use once a week to help clear your skin?

I have tried the Cetaphil moisturiser and it`s really runny and not moisturising enough for me. I`ve heard some good things about their cleanser but apparently it doesn`t remove makeup which is a huge downfall. 🙁

You could try the moisturiser for dry skin.
I use the one for dry and sensitive skin and it is just epic. Totally moisturising, not greasy, doesn`t smell bad and it works!
    I actually love it!

Cetaphil is such a great brand for people with sensitive skin! Its so gentle but the only thing is that it doesnt really remove makeup that well so i would take off my makeup with a make up wipe first before washing my face 🙂 And plus its super cheap
