Best and worst ebay cosmetic purchases

I like buying clothes on e-bay. Love a bargain.
I haven’t had any bad purchases yet, but I hate it when people put blatantly fake things and try to pass them as geniune!

I once bought Urban Decay’s Primer Potion from an eBay seller based in America.
I never got it, and had to do the PayPal Dispute Transaction thing.
She then told me she sent out another one, as I was willing to allow that it had been lost in the mail…
Never received the other one either =S

I mostly buy Asian make-up from eBay. It’s cheap, it’s really good (currently obsessed with BB cream and peeling gels, lol), although you do have to know how to watch out for fakes…

I haven’t had a worst experience yet but I’ve had some really great products that are from ebay. I got the Urban Decay Ammo+eden primer set as well as the benefit eye bright pencil and they’re both fantastic!

Best – Smashbox emerald eyeliner, maybelline lipglosses, mousse foundation, mineral powder foundation and concealer.

Worst – fake Lancome lipsticks. Bought a Mossimo watch once and it turned out to be fake. Took forever and a lot of complaints to paypal to get her to refund. Rudest seller ever.

I regularly buy things off ebay, but mainly clothes. Got some absolute bargains I love.

I bought a mini fragrance from ebay which didnt show up so i messaged the seller and he sent out another one, it took a while for it to arrive. I ended up not liking the fragrance but at least the seller was helpful.
My best purchase was my PSP before it was released in Aus it arrived super quick from HK. I felt super special when i got it.

best: buying bb creams, had no problem at all
worst: bought a revlon colourstay from the UK hoping to save 15 dollars ( i bought it for $20), but it was so thick and gooey, and the colour had changed, IT WAS DEFINITELY EXPIRED MAKEUP!!!!
it also happened to my maybelline lipstick, it smelt bad and was hard. had to chuck both products away. 🙁

i have never bought anything from ebay as im a little iffy about buying things online that i cant see first

Best – Max Factor pan stick. Was only a few dollors from uk. Arrived perfect.
Worst – Vera Wang princess perfume. Smelt like cheap toilet spray crossed with cat wizz. Horrible!

Best: scoring discontinued lipsticks (like the Maybelline power mineral collection) for around $7-8!
Also bought authentic MAC eyeshadows and blushes for around $20 each 🙂

Worst: didn’t happen to me exactly, but to my mum who bought two mascaras from a seller with 100% feedback and thousands of sales….and they were completely dry and empty! They refused to accept their product was faulty, but did give a refund in the end.

Best buys were two revlon lip products that have been discontinued – Revlon Lipglide in Sparkling Sangria and Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Raspberry Bite.

Absolute worst regret was this Dior mascara that was cheap and obviously fake…never making that mistake again!
