Bad body odour

hi all,

my sister has developed really bad body odour, i know she showers and used a deodorant but i dont think it is working for her. she works in a small office and a couple of the people she works with have contacted me and asked me to talk to her about her hygiene but i am not sure how to broach the subject without her getting upset or offended, any suggestions???

for christmas i got her a basket of bath products with nice soap, talc and deodorant but she is saving that for a special occassion!!

yea – again with the above post, i know people who smelt not because they didn`t use deo – but rather their diet was wrong, and the body was trying to dispel the excess of what ever it is. Seriously address her about the smell, as it may be a health problem

it sounds like the main issue is diet, then hygine, i would highly recommend seeing a naturopath or dietician..although not eve they can help her if she wont lay off the garlic LOL….. i know myself i eat quite alot of garlic as it is but i went through a phase of eating crushed garlic from the jar and people noticed the odour from 10 feet away, though unlike yor sister my colleagues told me in no uncertain terms, as did my boyfriend LOL.

I reccomend an antibacterial soap – SAPODERM from the chemist. Wash all over with it and she will be odour free. I use it on my face and I never ever get blemishes.

@modjo & goldilox; do you know roughly how much Dri-clor costs?

i hope it all works out best for you and your sister pepsi 😀

Dri-clor from the chemist is really effective, like goldilox said it seems to stop sweating in its tracks but once you`re used to it you dont need to use it every night. I do once a week in winter and 3 times in this heat.

I know you weren`t referring to me gem! Hehe. This is a very sensitive subject and I might you approached the situation in a great manner pepsi. It is probably best that she took the news from her sister than a stranger or co-worker.

I have over active sweat glands and was reccommended dryclor (wrong spelling but it is said like I`ve typed it) if your chemist doesn`t stock it they can order it in. BUT only use it when you need it coz it actually stops you sweating completely in the under arm area so you can end up with worse problems.
