I see that the last post for this topic has been in december and that you have only posted once. I hope you are still visiting this site as there is a lot to learn.

As for your question I do not think you are too young to start using vitamin e or vitamin c. But I do think that you should do as much reading as you can so you can make choices that work for you. At age 22 you should really be finding a sunscreen that you are happy to wear every day along with other sun protection measures as wearing eye glasses. A good cleansing routine can also do wonders for your skin and is a good investment.

Vitamin e is a pretty safe ingredient to use and is widely available at a reasonable price. If you are into diy skin care you can also use vitamin e capsules by adding the contents to creams or putting the oil straight onto your skin. This is best for night as it is quite a heavy oil.

Vitamic c is best to start slowly. It comes in different strengths and some peoples first reaction is to start strong as that is the best. However vitamin c is essentially an acid so use should be gradual and cautious. Vitamin c also comes in various forms and some are better then others. This is where research comes in. This way you will also save a lot of money and hopefully get results you are after.

Good luck. Skin care is a lot of fun. Let us know how you are going.

It depends what kind of products you’re looking at and what your reasons are. There’s a heap of products out there with vit e – The Body Shop has a whole range of it. But if you’re looking at using cosmaceutical products which contain high amounts of vit e and vit c (vit c you need to be particularly careful about) then like mel said, you need to go have professional advice first.

I would definately get some recommendations from an expert, you should have a skin analysis by a beauty therapist rather than just start using a product that might not be suitable for your skin. It could end up causing you damage further down the track or even cause irritation, this may not be the case but alot of serums can be really potent and at worst you could be just wasteing your money on products that you don’t even need yet. I know my vitamin C serum is in excess of $80 and for less than that you could get your skin assessed properly and then use products that they recommend suitable for your age/skin type/concerns etc. Hope that makes sense, LOL. 🙂
