Work Lunches

I need to get into the habit of bringing my own lunch to work (rather than buying lunch every day). I was just wondering what are everyone’s favourite lunches to bring to work? It’d be interesting to find out and I need a few ideas.
Thanks guys!

My fail safe lunch is a toasted roll/sandwich with cheese, tomato and seeded mustard,
With a little tub of yoghurt and/or a piece of fruit.
I also like to take some salad and make a wrap with mountain bread.
Last week I made a veggie slice (think quiche) and ate that for lunch most days.

It depends on if you have microwave/toaster/kettle facilities at work. If you do its much easier..
I love bring leftovers from dinner, just make a bit extra the night before.
Also I love toasted sandwiches, or fresh, you can just bring all the fillings and build it there so its not stale by lunch!
Or just make up some pasta or rice the night before and you can chuck in a can of tuna at lunch time.
I also try bring lots of snacks or I end up buying unhealthy ones on my breaks!
I reckon there are many options but you have to get organised- which I`m not always!!

Hey Angelee. When i am going somewhere and take a lunch i usually take a healthy role. So i usually have a pesto like dip with some different salad in it or something. If i am not having a roll i take some cous cous or tabouleh( i think that is how you spell it) which is very yummy! I cook it either in the morning or the night before then just take it in a container. then i take some nuts, usually almond or cashew and a piece of fruit. Then finally i will put a treat in like a chockie bar or something sweet to try and stop me from buying anything at work or school! I hope those ideas might be useful if you need any more info id be glad to help.
