Windows 7 Operating system

I am an apple girl all the way. I used vista and some crappy computer for the first 2 years of uni and gave up and lost faith thanks to file corrupting which once almost sent me to the looney bin !

My brother just installed it today! So far I haven`t noticed much difference but I`ll be sure to come back and post if I see anything major that`s cool/different…. I`m not the most savvy when it coems to this LOL

Thanks for the rundown, mmmm. I think it might be worth upgrading, as I`m over Vista, too. One of my computers can`t even download updates anymore, and like you, RJ, Internet explorer is always crashing.

Well I questioned hubby a little bit last night & he said that it was not as buggy as Vista, but had better features than XP. Apparently it runs Div X 11, whereas XP only runs Div X 9, I think Div X is one of those video streaming programs. He did say it wasn`t worth upgrading for everyone as XP still works well enough, but it depends on what you are doing with your computer and what programs you`re running. Oh he also mentioned it has much better security & apparently we now have a 3rd copy, but the professional one, just in case lol. Ah boys & their toys, there`s only the 2 of us, so goodness knows why we need 3 copies of the thing. O_o

I`d been wondering the same thing, BB. I wanted to hear reviews before making the switch. Sounds like your hubby definately gives it the thumbs up, mmmm!!
