Who uses a Vitamin C serum
I’ve been thinking of getting back into vitamin c serums and was wondering who uses one and which one would you recommend?
It’s been a few years, the last one I remember trying is an Ultraceuticals one and the Ultraceutical Cream when the Pharma range was available.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, keep them coming. I definately need to do more research.
Oh yey, love the cat Pablique. My cat does weird moves like that too. Even more weird he has a thing for rolling in sand and comes running like a dog when he is called. Such a confused individual but I love him to bits.

LoL I learnt about the Skinstitut powder from melmeko and I prefer it. My skin seems to absorb it mixed into my usual moisturiser better whereas serums just sat on my skin and a sort of shiny layer. I tried a few and the ASAP one was my favourite before I started using powder.
I travel a lot on weekends so that’s a plus of powders. I always felt I needed to keep the serums shut away in a dark cupboard or the fridge. Maybe you don’t actually need to, but serums are so pricey and unstable compared to powders… or maybe I’ve not done enough research haha.

Do vitamin C powders fully dissolve upon mixing with toner/moisturiser? Or do you get a gritty texture?
I’ve only tried Danne Montague King Direct Delivery Vitamin C Serum. I didn’t see dramatic improvements but my skin didn’t worsen either.
I only tend to buy serums with pump bottle (preferably airless) rather than dropper bottles – I worry about product oxidation.

I have also been told this! I love LENDAN products so looked into their vitamin C and one of their Vit C products comes in powder its called “Intensive Repair Treatment’
I don’t use a Vitamin C serum but Vitamin C in a powder form. I’ve been told that this is the purest form (no idea if it’s true or not) But, the one I’m using right now is by Cosmedix and it’s called Pure C. I bought it from a skin clinic, but I recently found out you can purchase it via Strawberrynet for a much cheaper price. So far, it’s pretty good. I have to squirt a little bit of toner (Cosmedix) on my palm and add a pinch of it onto that and mix. Then rub it onto my face.
I have a vitamin C powder by Skinstitut which is handy as you can just mix it with a moisturiser, but I personally prefer my serum 🙂

I use a combined A, C & E Serum. The brand is RATIONALE but you can only buy it from cosmetic doctors/dermal clinicians. It’s called Rejeuventing Serum and it’s fragranced by natural sweet orange oil. It’s the bomb. I also use their B12 Serum and their Refining Serum at night. I’ll stop raving now – I could go on for hours : )
Sorry I didn’t know that image was going to be so LARGE….
Hehe cute pic!!! :p How adorable!
I have used Vitamin C serum and it caused my skin to clog and I got little lumps on my skin, although it did make my skin brighter 🙂
Oh no thats no good, never had anything like that happen, what brand was it??
