Final update. So i got hubby to go out and purchase me the Braun Silk Legs, Body and Face Wet and Dry Epil 7 – 7681 epilator. It seems to be a lasting product. Not cheap looking at all and the power it has is amazing . 1 hr charge gets you 40 mins use which is really good. I gave it a shot today and went straight for the underarms.

OUCH is the word. The first 20 seconds is like hell. But after that you don’t feel a thing. I noticed i bled from a few follicles but my armpits were really bad from constant shaving and not enough moisturising. I have dark thick hair growth with multiple hair from each follicles. So you can just imagine.

As i type i run my hands on my armpit and it feels so good already. The red bumps are settling down fast and i didn’t even have to take any neurofen. In fact one armpit has fully settled and looks smooth enough to eat. Never seen my armpit so good. Already feels lighter as the hair made it look darker in appearance.

Tips: I shoved hubby’s ice pack underneath the arm until it went completely numb. Quickly used the wipes which came with it and went for the kill. Hopping on one leg also helps and swearing loud.

Is it worth the pain? Hell yeah.

Will try the bikini area in the afternoon. Ouch ouch. Legs will be last as i am still trying to grow the hair.

PS: hubby tried this on his upper arm just to feel it and nearly cried out.

Thanks for the great (ouch) update. So pleased that you are happy with your selection. You might want to take a panadol or other painkiller before your next session as I believe that helps. Can’t believe your hubby tried it but glad he did! Now he knows what pain women go through… hope he spreads the word! x

I will look forwrd to hearing more about this epilator. I have never used one, I just always found it easier and cheaper to buy disposable. This sounds like torture……

i have the braun epilator and really love it! the battery last ages, it gets 99% of the hairs and has a lot of accersories! hope that helped!
