Which cleansing oil should I get?

I love cleansing oils and have run out so am thinking of getting a new one. These are my finalists…though i am open to suggestions:

SKII, 250ml, $58.50
Pros – this size lasts forever (though this is a slight con as well…I get bored and want to try new products!!)
– The smells absolutely amazing
– I have used it before and know I love it
– free shipping

Cons – it is mostly mineral oil, which makes it expensive for what it is

Planet Eve Facial cleansing oil, 100ml, $49.01
pros – sounds gorgeous
– no nasties

cons – expensive compared to others for volume you get
– postage is another $10

the jojoba company cleansing oil, 100ml, $34.95
pros – again sounds amazing – no nasties
– there is a stockist right near me

con – only that before today i had never heard of this company (bloody BH…always makes me want something new!!).

Any suggestions. I guess I’m leaning towards the 3rd one as i have no cons for it!! Though I am rather fond of the SKII one!

What essential oils do you use on your face Mel? I have an oily t-zone so do you have any suggestions as to what I could try?
    🙂

I can only really find 100mL bottles. Is this the size you buy, malmeko? How long does it last you?

Haha yes I got a 100ml bottle and it has lasted me over 12 months, lol. I got mine from New Directions too 🙂

I was reading the ingredients on the moogoo one for oily skin, and I have most of them already! Jojoba, avocado, rice bran, grapeseed, lemon and juniper. I’m just missing castor and geranium.

I like to get my oils from New Directions, they have everything there, even information on creating your own brews 🙂

I just ordered about 7 different oils from the New Directions website Mel! I’m starting to make my own facial scrubs, cleansers, etc. I’m hooked!!

Just get some natural jojoba oil, so much more affordable and so effective because it works in sync with your own skin 🙂 Check out any health store, they sell them everywhere 🙂

I don’t care for the Laura Mercier cleansing oil, all it is, is baby oil/mineral oil with a couple of other added things

Thanks for the replies, guys! I think I’ll start with just jojoba and see how I go.

try DHC’s cleansing oil, worked well for me. Or if you’re a heavy makeup user, then fancl as there is a 120day lifespan.

LoL I just discovered a couple of things:

First the ingredients between the Jojoba Company’s cleansing oil and Dermalogica Precleanse are very similar except Precleanse is based on apricot oil and JC’s is based on jojoba:

    DERMALOGICA PRECLEANSE:
Caprylic/capric Triglyceride, Prunus Armeniaca (apricot) Kernel Oil, PEG-40 Sorbitan Peroleate, Helianthus Annuus (sunflower) Seed Oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Oils Of: Borago Officinalis Seed, Aleurites Moluccana Seed, Oryza Sativa (rice) Bran, Carthamus Tinctorius (safflower) Seed, Citrus Grandis (grapefruit) Peel, Lavandula Hybrida, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (orange), Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender), Citrus Nobilis (mandarin Orange) Peel; Solanum Lycopersicum (tomato) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Decyl Olive Esters, Tocopherol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Isopropylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Butylparaben, Citral, Limonene, Linalool.

    JOJOBA COMPANY:
Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, polysorbate 20, Cucumis sativus (cucumber) oil, tocopherol (Vitamin E), Cammellia oliefera (camellia) seed oil, Corylus americana (hazelnut) seed oil, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Arnica montana (arnica) flower extract, Calendula officinalis (calendula) flower extract.

As the JC one is Aussie, contains the benefits on jojoba and cheaper I know what I’ll be buying from now on lol. And yet I considered Precleanse a HG makeup remover.

I also discovered that in the town I moved to this year I can get JC and MooGoo from the same stockist. Even bigger lol. I should really learn to check the stockists pages before making online purchases…
