What to wear???

Hi Girls!
I’m off to see Cats In January and I have no idea what the dress code for something like that is!
Cocktail? Formal? Black Tie?
It’s at the Festival Theater in Adelaide, but it’s a big time Broadway show so I’m pretty sure I might need to dress up a lil more then Entertainment Center.
So advice from anyone who has been already would be great!

    Get dressed up. Not a formal/prom (princess!) dress, but something classy. Whenever I go to the opera, I will wear a nice black dress or some tailored long pants (the kind with loose legs, they look awesome with great heels) with a pretty top. Take a wrap too, as it may get cold in the auditorium. People wear all types of clothes to these sort of events, from jeans to black tie.

    it makes me rather happy when i am dresses up. it feels like you are the focus of the occasion.

    Oh dressing up is part of the fun!!
    There are not enough occasions I say!
    Id prob wear a cocktail dress as it may be warm!
    You need to be comfortable in what you wear too.
    I dont think you can be overdressed!
    You still get people in jeans and t-shirt.
