    On ‘Insight’ tonight, at 7.30 on SBS, the topic covered is anxiety.

    Thank you so much for posting it! I though the episode was quite good, it’s nice to see people talk about it and not feeling so helpless 🙂

    Hi Morrigan, I’m glad you got something out of the anxiety episode. I realised as soon as it started I’d already seen it so I didn’t watch it again. I agree it was a particularly good episode.its great to see people taking steps to manage anxiety and thankfully these days its a lot more understood! Jenny Brockie does a great job as well, unless the topic is really of no interest I watch it every week.

    I’m on a stack of medications for multiple health problems and one of the side effects is sweating. I don’t mean a bit of perspiration, I mean full blown, dripping wet, straight-from-the-pool, sweat. That’s why I tend to stay at home on my laptop in front of the air con. Even winter here isn’t cold enough for me. It’s really annoying, really limiting and oh so embarrassing. Many of the usual people I run in to when I’m shopping know about this as I always feel the need to explain. I can just see their eyes following the sweat drip that’s running down my face. The funny thing is, I don’t sweat under my arms or palms, but every other inch of my body does. Sorry if I grossed anyone out!!!!

    I have hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), have had it since I was a baby, all over but especially hands and feet, I’m always sweating and it’s awful, so I feel your pain. Even in the dead of winter I’m still sweaty. I’m always mopping my forehead and paranoid about my clothes sticking to my back. You’re definitely not alone, don’t be embarrassed! 🙂

    WOW!!! I fell better now MumOf3… I was actually regretting posting that as I find it so embarrassing. It’s good to know that others are going through it too, even though I’m so sorry that you have to go through it.

    LOL I know what you mean ILF! I’m apparently one of the 8% of people who suffer that side effect from the medication I’m on too. Sucks big time. I normally HATE winter, but I almost can’t wait for it to get cooler this year. I might be able to wear the same top for a whole day without feeling gross and drenched in sweat.

    I hope everyone gets through the difficulties they may be experiencing whether serious or less so.

    @Beautygeek
    , I feel for you. I replied earlier because I’m experiencing some of the same serious issues but I decided to delete the post because its still a little raw for me.X

    Iam glad it is all just behind me!!

    Thanx jayekaye…. Jannz I hope u find out what it is and u can oneday say the same!

    Thanks. I’m not really expecting to find out what it is now. A lot of people don’t seem to find answers to their health conditions, but I’d be content with being able to heal and hope that the symptoms will diminish. I really think it’s up to me now 🙂
