Weird Bumps on My Forehead

Okay so in January I got a haircut that has a pretty defined fringe (sideswept across the browline) and a couple of months after that (February-ish?) I have gotten these weird little bumps across my forehead. They haven’t really gone away, which is a worry.

I chalked it up to a breakout and switched cleansers and began exfoliating the area but the bumps are still there… they are like really tiny pimples and they are concentrated right between my eyebrows (I have to use quite a bit of concealer to make them unnoticeable).

Currently I’m using Simple’s line of facial care products… hydrating cleanser (not the gel), toner, moisturizer, and scrub, but I have a feeling they’re not strong enough to clear things up, or maybe I’m not doing enough to protect the area because my hair has irritated it a bit.

Does anyone have any tips or recommendations? I have combination to oily skin.

I have the same problem and its because of my fringe.I do not have dandruff though. My hair gets greasy easily, that might be a reason

Yeah I’ve gotten a hold of some elastic hairbands and will be wearing those at home when I don’t need my fringe down. I look a little silly with my hairstyle the way it is but I’ll see if that helps and let you guys know in a little while. Cheers for your help!

I used to get the same kind of thing around my jaw line when I always wore my hair down. It was definately either oil from my hair or the hair products I used. I hardly ever wear my hair down now and I never get the little pimples anymore.

That’s happened to me before and still does close to my hairline and on my back where my hair touches.I’ve found tying your hair back at home helps and using acne products on it

What haircare products do you use, the are probably the culprit, especially since it only developed after you got your fringe??

Lol Mel we had a very similar reply at the same time!

I’m in the exact same boat as you!! I used to have side bangs, and my skin was fine with that. Then early this year I got full blunt bangs and just recently I’ve been getting tiny little skin-coloured bumps right between my eyebrows.
Thinking they were pimples, I’ve been using tea tree oil but that hasn’t exactly worked. I also switched up shampoos/conditioners but that hasn’t worked either.
Now I try to pin up my fringe more, and when I sleep I always sweep my fringe to the side.
Hopefully we’ll find a way to fix this problem because I would like to keep my fringe too

I got the same issue after getting a fringe but the problem just fixed itself after a few months. I think my forehead just got used it it if that makes sense. I try not to put hair conditioner on the roots of my hair, I only apply a couple of inches down from the roots. Also with after conditioners and stuff I only add that to the lengths and not anywhere near my fringe or roots either.

Yeah thinking about it, I started a new shampoo/conditioner the same day I got my haircut in January… so I reckon that might have something to do with it.

I am using Angel Professional Marine Depth Spa Shampoo/Conditioner: http://www.angelprofessional.ca/products/angel-professional/shampoo/ … I actually have no idea if it’s good or bad for my hair since my hair is having some “issues” (basically it’s overdue for a smoothing treatment), but I wanted to try something new and it seems to be treating my scalp and hair all right.

I don’t use much of anything else in my hair apart from the Softening Spray by the same brand (and I don’t spray that on my fringe anyway).

I had the same thing happen to me for a few weeks just recently now my skin is fine. I was careful with the hair products I was using (Morrocan Oil) as it was clogging my pores when my hair rested on my forehead. What you put in your hair could be the culprit 🙂
