I’m looking for members to road-test a DIY blonde from L’Oreal Casting Creme Gloss and either provide a written review or a video review by 29th Jan.

I wish I could do something with the ends but they are unfortunately there to stay until I get it long enough to chop right off. I have tried unsuccessfully to change the colour of the black but it is useless, even those bright fudge colours, bleach, hair colour stripper, everything I have tried it and it doesn’t work, haha. Oh well the two toned effect is in isn’t it, haha. The lighting on the second photo makes it look dark at the top as well, its not, its all the same shade but just bad lighting, lol.
Oh and please excuse the actual style of my hair, it is completely NOT styled at all, which is why there are frizzy flyaways etc sticking out everywhere and it looks kind of fluffy, haha.

Kind of funky there mel, would definitely have a hard time recognising you if I wasn’t actually looking for you. You should go pink or something funky in the ends until it’s long enough for you to chop them off.

It’s a really nice colour, wasn’t what I expected from a bottle of blonde but really nice! It has a lovely glossy shine.
Looks a bit like my own colour from that picture 🙂

I really like the top part mel ! looks really natural.

I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard evening out the rest.

I had that problem once before when i went lighter, damn dark hair ! haha

Ok well here goes at my attempt, haha, be warned it has been pouring with rain here all day so I couldn’t get any photos that are nice and clear in natural light, had to stand near the window and make the most of the slight glare that was our day here today, haha.
Remember I have still got some black hair dye on the ends of my lengths at the front where it graduates, because I would have had to go about chin length to get it ALL out, so I have numerous colours going on here. Definitely no sign of blonde though, but that was expected, did lighten the light brownish colour by at least two shades though 😉

I don’t think I will have much luck catching the real colour tonight with artificial light and a flash but will try a couple otherwise will have to wait until daylight tomorrow. It has been so dark and overcast all day today not the best photo taking weather, lol.

Well I am really happy with the colour of my hair, while it is NOT blonde, the highlights are awesome and my hair is really soft and glossy. I think it turned my brownish colour hair kind of a caramel shade, but I definitely have the whole balayage thing going on, for so much cheaper than going to the hairdressers, hehe. Will have to get some photos done after if I can 🙂

    Can’t wait to see the photo’s 🙂
