Volume

I’m fortunate enough to have thin hair and was wondering what everyone’s top tips are for getting big hair? There’s only so much a good blow dry can do! With hundreds of products on the market I really just don’t know where too start.

tousle me softly range looks so good, the reviews say that it smells delicious. might be a stupid question, but how well would it work for straight hair? would it work at all?

Beaut my hair is completely & utterly dead straight and I really like the Tousle Me Softly range for my hair. I don’t use it every single day but I do like using it every now and again for a fun texture.

I found it didn’t give me any curls (bit much to ask from a shampoo but maybe one day they’ll bring a shampoo out that does that for us straighties!!) but it did give me a certain texture to my hair which was fun and different – kind of like body without the heavy ‘puffiness’ that I get from most volume shampoos (which I steer away from now because volume ones don’t seem to work for me).

    Hope this helps! : )

thanks 🙂 haha a girl can dream …

Yep they are really easy. If you have trouble with them slipping just tease the section your sliding it into.
Or put a bobby pin under that biut. I know its hard to explain..

I’ve wanted to try them too but haven’t gotten around to it yet. They don’t look like they’d be that hard to master. I think you just pop them in and cover with hair….. Not sure though.

ooh – i have seen them in Target! does anyone know if they are easy to ‘master’? i am thinking of giving it a go…

^ i have those, they are these raised plastic comb things that sit under your hair, kind of hard to explain but they are so quick and easy to use. Plus you can get them really cheap if you look around.

Only thing I can suggest is a root volumising product and blow dry hair in opposite direction you want it to fall, then let cool in massive rollers (unless you where after totally straight hair.)

Or for the extreme a root perm (sounds scarier than it is the roots are not so much permed but ‘lifted)

Thanks I will suss them out darl 🙂
