upper lip hair

well gee this is embarassing! haha
what is the best way to get rid of upper lip hair? it’s not thick.. they’re very fine little hairs but they cast a dark shadow around my mouth. i’ve tried waxing but it doesn’t work very well, and i’ve tried nair hair removal cream but that gave me a bright red rash around my mouth, it was horrible.
thanks 🙂

Nair facial waxing strips are perfect for this.

I use the Nair sensitive precision face hair removal cream, its great because unlike waxing and threading it`s $10 tube and its lasted me over a year. It gets rid of the hairs at the surface of the skin and doesn`t leave your face with marks, blotches or redness like the normal wax or threading essentially would well for me anyway

Highly recommend threading it grows back slower and not as thick over time

I have dark hair and dark eyes with Scottish background, meaning fair skin. My upper lip hair is terrible and I get quite thick ones in the corners. I use hard wax at home, but then still have to tweeze the thick ones out. I am constantly plucking and waxing and would love to get laser, but there is nothing in my town.

I haven`t tried it but I`ve heard people say that the Bellabe facial hair remover is fantastic.

Thank god this is here. Ugh.. I have the same problem and when I was younger shaved it a couple times but now starting to wonder if bleaching is the best option?

I also have very fine hair and it wasn`t until my beautician waxed my upper lip when I was around 18 that I now need to consistently. I now use the nair sensitive strips for upper lip but am also considering laser!

I have very fine, fair facial hair which is rather annoying because it glistens in the sun.

I`ve used the Nair hair removal face cream (Sensitive) for years with complete success. A couple of times I`ve left it on too long which has caused redness, but you live and learn. I have also tried a couple of other brands but ended up going back to the Nair.

I like to epilate my facial hair, but my facial hair is not particularly thick. I use tweezers now and then as well for the corners.

I love the idea of threading. It is a traditional Asian beauty treatment where a technician will use a loop of thread, twist it over a few times, then run the thread over your face. The crossover twist of the thread will then pull your facial hair out. I haven`t taken the time to book a session though.
