Trying to find a decent foundation!

Ok so for a long time I used Clinique Even Better, lovely foundation, loved it.
But, I’m trying to cut costs now so I’m looking for a foundation of a similar quality (haha, yeh I know that’s probably not possible).
I have combination skin that can get sensitive, and breakout. I get really dry spots around my nose and forehead.
Tough situation, I know!
Any help would be appreciated.
I was considering either Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse or Covergirl Clean Sensitive.

I don’t believe Mica is bad for you and there are far worse ingredients than Mica http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/ingredient/703949/MICA/

Rimmel definitely have one of the best quality budget liquid makeups that I have tried so far, awesome staying power and not quite as cakey looking as some of the maybelline and covergirl ones i have tried in the past 🙂

Hey there, have you tried the mineral powder from Nude by Nature? I’m also combo, sensitive and prone to breakouts and I find their products fantastic no irritation or breakouts at all and the products last for ages, I must admin though they’re not as quick and convenient as a liquid sometimes but they are very good quality, the mineral powder is $39 and the finishing veil is also $39 🙂

Yes actually, I just bought the Nude by Nature and have used it a few times in the past few days. Works great if I put on a little concealer on stubborn red spots, I’m quite impressed!
Although I was a bit concerned when I read a post somewhere that Mica isn’t good for the skin, and that’s the first ingredient listed for NbN! 🙁

I really think mineral mkeup is amazing!!

I am currently using mirenesse skinclone compact powder foundation.. It is expensive through mirenesse, but on ebay or if you are into the beauty swap thread it is cheaper.

Other wise I would recommend Nude by Nature.

I find that mineral makeup is gr8 I have used Prestige and maybelline…. also I tried Karma as it is all natural but it just wasnt right for me as it kept looking cakey and weird by the end of the day but the others are great and the coverage is buildable and it is sooo easy to apply and is great photo ready type foundation they make your skin look more flawless and dont end up oily on my skin like liquid foundations do more so.
