TRICK FOR DARK UNDER EYE CIRCLES!!IT WORKS

HI Beauties, I have just watched a tutorial by xsparkage and in it she covers the topic of dark under eye circles..This is what she said to do…I tried it and it ABSOLUTELY WORKS!!!
Use a small amount of orange lipstick…I used an orange cream blush..and apply it just on the blue/dark area under your eyes and blend it well. Then put your concealer over the top and blend well…..Ta Da…circles greatly diminished!!
I would never have thought to try something so orange under the eyes but it really does work.

Orange definitely does work – it seems silly, but like Ayaito said, they are opposite on the colour wheel so they work well to cancel each other out. Until recently i’d just been using a normal ‘under-eye’ concealer from Napoleon. I thought it was orange, but it turns out it was more yellow, and as soon as I used an orange that was a bit darker, VOILA! the blue/purple under my eyes almost disappeared 😀

This is because makeup artists use orange concealer to cover up tattoos ect that are really hard to cover up 🙂 So it wouldn’t suprise me if any orange based products worked to cover it up! I’m glad you all had luck with it! 🙂

I got this advice from Mecca Cosmetica when i went there for a makeover, i have seriously dark under eye circles (they are dark brownish) i look like i’ve never slept. They recommended the Nars Praline concealer which has an orange tinge to it. it really works for me

interesting …. dont have anything that i can try that with atm tho!

I don’t own anything orange but it sounds like it might work for some skin tones.

The same idea is used to hide dark “beard shadow” under makeup. It’s grey-blue, so orange-red is used to hide it.

There are plenty of salmon concealers out there. Just google it. I prefer pink for me though. I know they say that pink makes blue turn green but it totally works me me, brightening the area. Orange makes me look sallow. Yellow is bad for me also. I guess it will also depend on the persons skin tone. I’m very fair.
