Transluscent Powder

Hi guys,
I’m thinking about buying some transluscent powder to help set my concealer. I’ve never used the stuff before so I’ve got a few questions… In your opinion does it really help set your make up? and what’s the main difference between pressed and loose (other than the obvious =P)?
What brands would you recommend?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Angelee, I`ve always owned both loose and pressed powder but use them for different purposes. Don`t know whether its their original purpose but I use loose powder after I`ve applied foundation – I find it helps even out/soften your complexion overall. I carry a pressed powder (or compact) in my handbag for a quick touchup during the day.

Really? I did the search and the link I posted came out as one of the results, that`s how I found it.

Perhaps you did the search in the wrong box? On your top right hand side there are TWO search buttons. The top one (next to the “”Advanced Search”” sign) is for the whole site, the lower one is specifically for seraching for previous posts in the forum.

Another possibility: check your spelling. The correct one is: translucent, without “”s”” between u and c. Good luck! 🙂

Hi angelee, it DEFINITELY help to set the makeup. 🙂

See this previous thread for more: http://www.beautyheaven.com.au/forums/9/topics/2043

If you look at your top right hand corner, there`s the “”search in posts”” box, type “”translucent powder””, click the “”search”” button, then you can see all threads where it`s been mentioned. Hope it helps. 🙂
