Toner vs. Purifying Toning Mists

Hello Beauties

I’m in a bit of a pickle here, I am currently trailing a few toners etc, was originally using Neutrogena alcohol free toner but decided to change it up a bit and currently using a Japanese branded Shiseido which is great! but! i know for a fact that once this bottle is done I would have no idea where to buy it (as it was kindly donated) and its a bit pricey as much as i love it.

So i turned to Jurlique and so far what i can see is that their toners are purifying toning mists? Can a purifying toning mist replace a toner? That is my question, I saw a few video reviews on youtube and they all said its great for summer etc but can it actually replace the toning process of my skin care routine? I guess I feel a little confused about it as there is no cotton involved … someone help 🙁 lol pretty please? lol any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! hope to hear from someone soon

uh oh i feel the jurlique bug catching on…. Just bought the toning mist yesterday and it FEELS AWESOME!!!! also got given a whole bunch of samples including their oatmeal daily ex foliating cream and the balancing cleansing lotion and a few moisturizers and I can feel my skin loving every drop of goodness that comes of a jurlique tube……DAMN must somehow resist as my bank account will definitely hate me for it! lol Thanks for everyone that replied and helped, found out that the mist from jurlique specifically is not used as a toner more as something to balance my skin out (the rosewater one anyways) and been using this before i apply moisturizer can feel my skin soaking up the goodness …. love love love it!

Yes it can definately do the same job. Even if you decide on buying a mist, you can still spray onto a cotton ball and wipe over your face exactly the same way you would do normally. I actually prefer the toning mists, they smell great and leave the skin feeling so fresh.

My Gaia toner that I use is in a spray bottle so it can be used as a mist. The directions on the bottle just say to spray it onto cotton wool (I use a cotton cleansing pad) and pat lightly on the areas you want to tone. You can also lightly spritz it on your face to freshen it throughout the day.

I’ve never used regular toner, just the toner mists but I prefer the mists as I think you’d use less and it’s easier to apply – plus they smell nice and feel nice and cool on your skin.

Yeah i’ve been thinking about getting it for the winter months, i eventually found out that its not used as a toner as such despite the word “tones” its more for keeping the moisture levels up for the skin i might try it!! which scent did you get? i hear the citrus one is apparently great for acne?

I have used Jurlique mist and I love it, I love the scent and it moisturise my face too. But during summer I stick to normal toner. I feel like it cleans my skin better. I go back to Jurlique mist during winter though coz my skin can get quiet dry.
