Whaee, if you`re planning on getting waxed before your wedding, do it about 5 days before, cause if it`s your first wax it`ll take a few days for it to calm down, and you don`t want to be sore for your wedding night.

Waxing doesn`t have to be done incorrectly – it`s not about the method of hair removal – it`s all to do with the hair pushing through the skin again and getting caught or whatever. That`s why you need to exfoliate and moisturise to have smooth soft skin that the hair can easily break through.

If the waxing is done incorrectly or the wrong way it can cause ingrowns really easily so yeah there is always potential for the ingrowns. goodluck whaee

You can still get ingrowns from waxing – any hair removal has the potential for ingrowns. You need to be extremely diligent with exfoliating and moisturising the area every day.

I have heard that there is no real way of avoiding them if you shave down there. I am going to try getting a brazillian wax before my wedding….even thinking about it is freaking me out lol. Hope it`s worth it!

Audra D – what organic products do you use? I`m gradually turning most of my products natural/organic – so very interested in suggestions!

Oh and also – I`ve tried that NADs stuff – and honestly I didn`t think much of it at all. HOping for a better suggestion! 🙂

I exfoliate & moisturise, but still get them, I`m really hoping the Nads stuff works too, they can be really uncomfortable.

I always use an organic scrub whenever I shower and always follow up with an organic moisturiser. I rarely get ingrown hairs. Regular waxing also helps I think.
