The Best Thing about Christmas

I must say I am a christmas fanatic – I love nearly every little thing about Christmas – I always am in the christmas spirit – i love giving to people and I love finding them that perfect present that makes their face light up when they open it and see it – thats probably one of my favourite parts of christmas.

I also love how it brings my family together (as its about the only time my family gets together)

Definately!!! My kids decorate my tree – ok so later that night i re-arrange a couple of things – they usually only do one side. I put on my daggy Christmas CD`s a bag of crisps or lollies and we enjoy an afternoon of decorating. It is definately all about the kids for me – they still believe which is precious.

yeah the kids love it, i love seeing them happy.
I love seeing my family also.
I love giving gifts to other people, i love shopping for them too and putting in an effort to pick gifts.

Annoying as they are every other day of the year, I do love waking up to the excited screams of my next door neighbors (3,5, and 7 yrs) the excitement on their faces is priceless!

well because im still kinda young.. i adore christmas in a way young people do lol hahaa.. i love the whole festive feeling about it.. the presents, the christmas lights, and christmas tree, cards being handed out to everyone.. 🙂 just love it all!

I adore Christmas! From the carols which i go around singing in December, to putting up the christmas tree (we have always put it up after the 3rd of December, as thats my brothers birthday). Even now, i still have trouble getting to sleep on Christmas Eve, and i always always wake up at some insane time in the morning. Also, because i have seven brothers, and six of them don`t live at home, there aren`t many times when we all gather at one place, but Christmas is usually when everyone is around..(apart from if they`re off travelling!). I love going shopping, even if i`m not buying anything, and just seeing all the decorations.

when i worked (bb – before bub) i worked in retail so it was a crap time of year so the best part was having xmas day off.

people are so rude around this time of year, so please to all of you doing your xmas shopping, please be nice to the retail staff, they are over worked and paid crap $ for the effort they put in.

anyway, this year and last year it was having my baby boy to open pressies with. he was only 3 months last year so this one will be much more fun, i`m going to do the house with all the decos and actually put the tree up this year (decs to the bottom to avoid little hands) and we`ll get to spend a fair part of the day in the pool and eating prawns. good times.

Time off work & lots of celebrating with family & friends. I love that it marks the end of the year & the start of a new one & the long warm days that turn into lovely nights where you can just sit around & eat & drink with those closest. I think it`s the most joyous & relaxing time of the year, but then again I don`t have children yet, so we`ll see what if that changes, lol.

The best part is bringing the whole family together. We have some relatives that we only see when there are birthdays and special occassions. I`d like to see them more often but I guess it`s nice that everyone gets together. I also love watching all the kids faces light up when they open up all their pressies.

Good tip, AliceJane, And it`s also the best time to stock up on Christmas cards and wrapping! I got mine at half price at the start of the year…..
