TESTINGFOUNDATIONS

In the 31 years of my life I have never bothered to wear foundation-in any form or fashion

Of late, I have decided I want to wear/use foundation

But I am confused as to where to test foundations. I have had several different answers from so-called “professional advice” experts……

So-where is the best spot to test foundation

p.s. PleaseEEEE excuse my makeup IGNORANCE lol-but I’ve just never needed to use foundation I feel embarrased asking!)

I also like to go to a makeup counter and get a complete foundation – you can see how it wears, the colour changes that might happen (eg the dreaded orange) and most importantly for me – see if my skin is going to react to it. No money wasted – only some of my time!

I like to actually go to a makeup counter so I can put a full face of foundation on then just carry on with my day to see how it wears, sometimes after a few hours it settles in to my pores or looks greasy or just doesn`t look right in natural light.

I always ask the staff at the chemist as to which foundation would suit me they are always helpful so good luck thanks sarah for the article.

Kay n Jay is right there are threads on this but if you can`t find it, the only way is to test the foundation in natural sunlight on your jawline darl 🙂
