teeth whitener products/pack

Just wanting to know if anyone has used any whitening packs or products from supermarkets etc. You know what i mean when you see them in packs i think they cost about 20-30 dollars?
im wanting to whiten up my teeth as i have wanted to since i had my braces off which was like 3 years ago now, also i have a permanent metal little bar behind my front teeth to stop them seperating. do you think the whiteners would remove this? or interfere at all? i dont want it to since its keeping my front teeth together so they dont separate. THANKS xxx

    i use colgate whitening toothpaste, it says it leaves u with whiter teeth withing 14 days.. and it does!! i can see the change!! i mean it doesnt like stand out or anything but my teeth are definately whiter then they used to be
