Tanning moisturisers

I have johnsons body moisturiser that adds tan.

I use it rarely… ie not enough to notice any difference.

How often do you actually need to use it to get and maintain a light tan??

Ok so for body bronzer? I love love LOVE the sportsgirl liquid body bronzer – it`s not smelly (coz it`s not a fake tan) and it`s nice and cheap ($10) and is really easy to use – just apply like moisturiser – you can even mix it in with moisturiser if you want to tone it down – it looks REALLY brown in the tube, but don`t stress – it just leaves a lovely golden brown tan colour on you – no real shimmer, just a light sheen – I actually mix it with a shimmer lotion if I want that effect.

Fake tan is a bit more difficult – I find the better ones cost up around $40! I`ve had success with Le Tan and Ambre Solaire ones before though. Hope this helps! 🙂

I`m gonna go with a fake tan and/or body bronzer without any shimmer. 🙂

Gotta warn ya, I`ve NEVER tried fake tan before, so go easy on me. Lol. Since I got tanned skin, I think it might be impossible to go orange, but you never know. I hear St. Tropez are good, but I don`t wanna spend more than $20.

    I`m all ears Elmo 🙂

So do you want a gradual tanner, a normal fake tan, or just some body bronzer (temporary)? I can suggest all! 🙂

Thanks Elmo, I`d still love some colour as I`m trying to even my skin out too. Even though I do have tanned skin, some parts are lighter than others ( body is lighter than arms and legs ). I think the girls are gonna be in swimwear so I wanna be a bit of a bronze goddess, rather than milky coffee. Haha!

Aryanny – a nice body oil is often all you need – gives a nice sheen to your skin which shows off the tan…or were you after something more than that?

Hmm, I`m bumping up an old thread again. Lol.

I`m off on holidays for 4 days tomorrow, and wondered what`s a good tanner for skin that`s already naturally tanned. I had an old bottle of SHE bronzing lotion, it worked great but was way too shimmery for my liking. This is kinda a last minute tan dilemma. I guess I just wanna emphaise my tan, I doubt I can go any darker with All the products mentioned semmed to be gradual tanners. I don`t think I`ll have time to get a spray tan either.

Actually come to think of it, there WAS an article about fake tans not that long ago.

Anyhoo, still love to hear your ideas. Thanks in advanced for all suggestions/thoughts/advice. 🙂 xx
