Sydney IMATS

I actually didn’t think it was that great. There weren’t many stalls and it was too overcrowded. I might go again, but i’ll figure that out close to the day.

If your only going one day, I’d personally wait a few months to purchase a ticket.

The saturday opens earlier i think so you could get more out of it….

But if you wait until a. the exhibitor list is up (which honestly could change last minute… it did last year. OCC pulled out for one (but you could some of their products at other stalls).. but also until the schedule of events. They have some great classes/talks/guest speakers and so best to base which day you go around which ones you want to see. That wont go up for awhile I dont think. Imats isnt until september.

MUFE was there last year… but I didnt bother to buy anything. I didnt find the prices to be a huge discount (at least not compared to some of the other brands there).. they were still quite expensive and I couldnt justify it personally.

I went both days last year… its great because you can come and go as you please because you get a wristband. So if there was a line, you could go get some food or something, or go see a talk and come back later.

hey, im going to buy by imats tickets soon maybe next weekend, and for only one day, but i dnt knoe which one , should i go on the first or second, cause i really want to go to MUFE for their smokey lash but im concered about the waiting in line… please give me some reccomidations/advice 🙂 !!!

I had planned on going this year, but we’ll be on holidays in the UK until the following week. So gutted – we’re in the UK at the wrong time to go to anything there, and we’re missing the Sydney one. :o(

oh damn, I was in the UK in September last year and London Fashion week was on! They streamed shows live in a lot of boutiques.
I was gutted that we flew out the night of the Eat, Pray, Love premiere! Although I did manage a sneaky pic on the red carpet 2 hours before Julia arrived hehe

I went last year and It was a great expereince. I’d like to go this year, but will have to see where I’m at $$ wise closer to the date.
The demonstrations and classes are fantastic (as are the discounts) I’d go ifyou are passionate about makeup. Especially if you live in sydney. I’d suggest going both days as there are different demos and stuff on each day. Maybe look it up closer to the date and check out the schedule and what speakers will be there.
