sun protection HELP

Hi girls,
I’m a little confused, how do i reapply sunscreen throughout the day when I wear it under my make up in my moisturiser? and if I re-apply sunscreen I’m thinking that I’ll have to take off my make up and start all over again. This is for shopping and socialising days, not at the pool/beach where obviously I wouldn’t wear make up.

Well, I wear my SPF daily but I don`t reapply. On most days it`s not like I am going to bake under the sun so it is not an issue. When I go out to the beach/bush walk etc I make sure I put on a water resistant one though. I found the best is Bobbi Brown BB cream. I wear it to beach crawl and at the end of the day my makeup is still very intact, and doesn`t look like there is any sun damage /dry skin

I`ve been surprised how much coverage La Roche Posay`s BB cream gives.
It`s SPF50+ and my skin can look just as good in it as full coverage foundation. I find that it`s very sweat/fade/melt resistant too and survives the beach etc…
If you were to wear this, could just top up with it/reapply another layer.
This post has made me feel a bit guilty, because I`m such an SPF preacher, but I don`t reapply, and often (mostly 🙁 …) forget hands and decollete…
I recently got a feelgoodinc coconut SPF50+ that I`m going to start using for hands and neck…It smells amazing if that tempts anyone.

to apply sunscreen over the makeup during the day, you can rub the suncreen on your hand and the `pat` on the face lightly. i have tried it myself and it really works. it won`t mess up your makeup as long as you don`t apply too much.

My favourite is Ego Sun Sense anti-aging matte 30+. It`s cheap (about $14 from Priceline) and leaves my face quite matte. I have a fairly oily t-zone, but this product works really well for me, even under make-up. Oh, and it`s Aussie too!

Clarins has this sunscreen with SPF 30+. The texture is good and it gets absorbed by the skin. Also, it can be used as a make up primer. They say that its easy to apply it over the make up. You might want to check it out. I really like it but its a bit too expensive for a sunscreen. A 30 ml bottle of costs $43.

That`s interesting Elmo, is it new? And where do they sell this?

Thanks Style Queen. Yeah I thought it was very weird/interesting. So here I was thinking I was much better off with an SPF 30, but it seems this is not really the case.
Will certainly let you know after Christmas x

Maybe try the Invisible Zinc stuff? Zinc provides a physical blocker between your skin and sun rays so it`s fully protected.
