Straight without the GHD

I have a GHD, but I try to limit using it so protect my hair.
I have a good thermal protector spray, but I’m looking for a new Straightening Balm or Cream that I can use for blow-drying!
Does anyone know a good one for less than $20 that I can get at Priceline?

John Freida and Tresemme make some great straightening creams. I recommend using a cream rather than a gel or balm if you’re trying to last longer between washes. A cream won’t weigh your hair down or build up as much as others will.

Hi, I use the John Frieda 3 day straight and this means I can skip two days or so with the GHD, under $20 from Priceline too

I second Beautybabe111’s suggestion – Herbal Essences Dangerously straight is terrific and makes my boofy wavy hair look sleek and keeps frizz under control too. For heat protection I use Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, it really works and smells delicious too xx

Wow I want to try herbal essences one now…..but I have so many new shampoos and cond.s ATM.

I always use tresseme heat protect spray love it!,

Does the dangerously straight make your hair oily or weigh it down????

I tried Herbal Essences twice (dangerously straight and the blue one for dry hair) and it was a disaster! It dried out my hair but it left an oily film at the roots. I don’t usually get tangles but after using their product my hair was a mess. Definitely not for everyone!

I normally just use a protcector before i straighten, not that mine is particularly curly, its just got these kinks in it that i hate, but if i use these products will it extend the ‘life’ of my straightness, if that makes sense

    Beautybabe111 that sounds seriously awesome.
I straighten my hair on Fridays and I really want to go out and buy these products…
I used to use the Herbal Essences curly range which I really liked. I think I might have to buy some tomorrow night…

My absolute must have is Loreal thermo repair cream. It is amazing!! Honestly the best product ever. It lasts 5 washes so you don’t have to apply it after every wash, it isn’t greasy and protects hair like nothing else.
Unforuntately it doesn’t meet your requirement because you can’t get it at priceline. I get mine from my hair dresser but it is the best heat protector on the market for blowdrying.
