STRAIGHT and frizz-free hair

for years i have been battling my wavy/kinked hair trying to get it to be nice and straight and frizz free.
on other forums i have seen comments about good frizz products and im gonna try some of those

but i was wondering if anyone knows of a product i can use on dry hair for everyday styling that will help my hair behave. i have a particularly troublesome spot on the front left side of my hair that likes to form an uneven wierd looking jagged zigzag that i really hate.

i have fine, flyaway and frizzy hair. i use a flat iron but im looking for something extra to help.

any suggestions?

I agree with Lip Gloss it is better to blowdry your hair before straightening it and to use a straightening serum otherwise it will still be a bit kinky and it won`t last.

Hey there, I feel your pain Iheartpringles. My hair is wavy, frizzy and kind of fine too! After washing your hair, do you apply any products and/or blow dry your hair? After I shampoo/condition my hair I apply redken anti-snap (leave in protein treatment) and joico straightening balm. Then I blow dry my hair using both a paddle brush and a round brush. Then section hair and straighten it (after spraying with a heat protection spray). After that I use a serum and a little leave in conditioner to smooth frizzies/fly aways. If I dont blow dry my hair before straightening I get a very poor result. I know some people just wash their hair, let it dry naturally and then straighten it and it looks good, but you just can`t do that with my hair type. I definitely recommend you use a straightening balm and blow dry your hair before straightening it! (if you don`t already do that!! 🙂

Your straightener just isn`t good enough. Mine stays straight until I wet it (days later).

I agree with missmeow. Get a GHD and if you can`t afford it a cheaper straightener will still do a good job. I have been hating my not curly not straight frizzy flyaway hair for the last 5 years. Two weeks ago I had the hairdresser straighten my hair with a GHD and I am in love. I couldn`t afford a GHD so I got a Remington Wet to straight. I am still working out the right temperature for my hair so I`m not sure if it is as good as the GHD but I am already after trying it only once so much happier and so happy I bought it. Do yourself a favor I`m sure you will love it.

i was thinking about chemical straightening but they say its not for thin hair so i guess im not compatible (sob)

ah yes mariesa i was looking at that treatment but i had no idea it made your hair straight. do you have naturally straight hair?

i have been using the john freida frizz ease night treatment. It smells really nice and all you have to do is go to sleep.

`Thermal/Negative Ion Straitening` really helps. It was initially from asia so better you go to an asian salon for cheaper price and latest development.

Korean salons especially. They have a new treatment for bob perm. So it`s like a straitening but for bob style and your hair is meant to sit nicely in bob shape.

Here are some other tipes: dry your hair with a `negative iron straightener` with stratening serums.
