sore nipples :( Help ??

could be hormonal?

mine have been sore lately too and i am definitely not pregnant… lol

I found taking a strong daily dose of evening primrose oil was helpful for the week leading into the usual painful times.

Ive had this randomly happen, had no idea why, but I used Paw Paw Ointment for a few days.

Hi Pinkcoco, glad to hear you are feeling better. I always had this before my periods when I was younger so it was probably just hormonal. If it continues or you are worried still, definitely see a doctor. 🙂

it stopped in a few days, and now ive got the pre-cramps going 🙁
so id say it is pms. just confused, never had the nipples hurt.
i ended up using Neroli oil. that worked pretty well.

my nipples suddenly became very sore,
to the point of me actually thinking there was a cut that soap was getting into…

i wasnt using any new products or anything.
and im not pregnant. haha

my towel and shirt
cant even touch them without it hurting like someones putting an ice cube on me 🙁

I’M A NURSE I SUGGEST THAT YOU DO GET A PREGNANCY TEST. NOT SURE OF YOUR AGE, BUT COULD BE MENOPAUSAL. IF THIS PAIN CONTINUES SEE A DOCTOR, ESPECIALLY IF YOU SEE ANY DISCHARGE COMING FROM THE NIPPLES

it can happen if u skip a period by pill, implant, etc. It could also perhaps be a virus as that can do strange things to ur body sometimes

Are you on Implanon by any chance? I am and this is the first and often only warning I’ll get that it’s that time of the month (year in Impanon’s case… :P). Crazy hurt and very sudden.

Like the other ladies said it could be from upcoming periods but a few years ago I had really sore nipples and from recolition they were a bit dry. I remember going to the doctor and he told me to use a cream called dermaid. It is only about 1 percent quartersone. It was a type of dermatitis and I only ever had it once and never since. The cream worked and you just buy it at the chemist for under $10 if I recall. I still use it at times for my hands when they crack badly.

I don’t have this problem myself but I’ve heard that ‘Lanolips 101 Ointment’ does wonders…I just use mine as a lip balm and on cuts etc. but you try it and see how it goes. Good luck:)
