Skincare you repurchase

I couldn’t quite find an existing thread on this so I’ll start a new one.

What skincare products or items do you always seem to repurchase even if they’re not quite your Holy Grail of whatever? Be strict! Myself or someone else can start the same threads in makeup, hair and body.

Mine would be:
– ASAP daily facial cleanser
– ASAP Clear skin gel
– ASAP Bodymoist
– Cetaphil moisturising lotion
– Cetaphil gentle cleanser
– Dermalogica Precleanse (this is a HG)
– Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild
– Clarisonic brush heads (sensitive although now switching to delicate)
– Maybelline Babylips spf 20+ lip balms
– Hamilton spf 30+ lip sunscreen (a summer HG)
– EOS lipbalms (all flavours)

Stuff that’ll be on the list:
– Clinique all about eyes rich
– ASAP Bodymoist
– Queen Helene’s mint julep mask

I’ll doubt I’ll swap most of these out. Mainly because they work and I end up going back to them when I do try new things.

I’m not very loyal with my facial care, tohught I have bought a Priori cleanser lately and am in love with it! :-)))

In terms of skincare for the body I love the H2O+ Sea Marine Triple Butter Sugar Scrub and the Spa Hand & Foot Smoother Retexturizing Seaweed Therapy also by H2O+…The best for my body. I got these from http://www.fragrancesandcosmetics.com.au/

Have to agree I’m not very loyal when it comes to skincare products. I’ll love them at first and will use them religiously for several months but when it’s almost out, I’ll try to look for an even better product or skincare range. I would however repurchase Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate or Estee Lauder’s Night Repair serum.

I have very sensitive/combination skin prone to breakouts so I have to be really careful what I use on my face. Here is my list of HG products that I buy time and time again, I just LOVE them 😀

    Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
    Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion
    Akin Rosehip Oil/Trilogy Rosehip Oil
Akin Rose and Geranium Cream Cleanser
Moo Goo Milk Wash (I use this on my face)
    Moo Goo MSM cream
    Moo Goo Anti Ageing Cream
    Olay Total Effects Gentle
    Lucas Paw Paw Cream
Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash or Palmolive Shea Body Wash

Hey Oceangirl12! I’m just wondering what your experience was like using the MooGoo MSM Cream and Anti Ageing one? Which one works best to prevent/treat acne?

Hiya, Mdy118! I’ve been using the MSM cream for just over a week and my skin has cleared up dramatically. It could just be coincidence but here’s hoping it’s the cream because honestly, my skin has never looked better. Definitely give it a shot.

And a specific Ance range? So excited to see what they come out with!!

I always repurchase Mirenesse’s Pore Perfect Air Mousse Primer, I can’t live without that. I always repurchase Elizabeth Arden Good Morning Eye Treatment, Vaseline Cocoa Butter, Vaseline, and Pantene Curl Mousse (I know that’s not skincare).

My products that I love and do/will repurchase and won’t change in the future unless they discontinue them:
I like to alternate between products sometimes so there are a few doubles

Ecotools Love Heels All Heel Cream
    Gaia Foaming Cleanser
    Gaia Refreshing Toner
    Gaia Facial Moisturiser
Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream
Soap & Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream
    Bloom Butterfingers Hand Cream
Nivea Sun Light Feel Sun Lotion SPF 30+
    Ecotools Sustainable Softness Body Lotion
    Softlips Lip Balms
    Biore Refine Self Heating Mask
    Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash
Nature’s Organics Spa Creme Brulee Shower Milk
Crystal Essence Roll On Crystal Deodorant in Lavender and White Tea
Lush Bath Ballistics and Bubble Bars

At the moment those are my holy grails. I have a list of products that I want to try in the future, when I run out of my current ones that i’m not completely satisfied with, that will hopefully make that list too (e.g. face scrubs, body butter, face masks, etc).

    …and if we’re including makeup:
Covergirl Trublend Liquid Foundation in 1
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Black
Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara in Black with the curved brush
(I’ve been using the last 2 for the last 5 years)

I love Biore self heating mask! It feels so nice to apply.

    Luca Paw Paw Ointment
St Ives Apricot Face Scrub (but now I prefer the green tea one!)
    Blistex lip pots/sticks
    Akin Rosehip oil
Benzac AC wash, Benzac AC topical cream
    Palmers Cocoa butter body lotions
    Kosmea products

When I had problems with acne, the Benzac topical cream was my HG product. It is wonderful. Interesting to know that there is a wash as well because they didn’t have that years ago.

You’ve got rid of your acne haven’t you? Was that the laser light therapy? I forget now, I think you had a thread about it. I should really look into it.

Yeah the wash is great! I bought the 5% which is quite strong but my skin can handle that strength now and 2% is too light for me. It really does calm my skin down if I have a breakout. It dries out all the pimples and makes them less angry. But it’s also a great preventative if used once a day. I think it’s meant as a preventative actually. I bought ‘Acne Free’ from american and also love that brand. It’s got the same ingredients but 2% in the wash but it’s a whole set and the other things in the set have higher BP in it. The wash has a bit of exfoliation in it compared to the Benzac one, it’s nice to use actually.
