skin lightening / anti-tanning?

hey, I was just wondering, are there any products out there that can lighten dark skin (I’m indian) or at the very least prevent tanning? I know European people take tanning as a sign of beauty, but we think the opposite 🙂

    Hi,
You can do to whiten your skin:
    Use to lighten dark skin.
Eat right foods and take better care of your skin.
Apply Potatoes paste on your skin.
    Drink more water.
Eat helps to flush out toxins in your body.

    Hi zhashi,
I think these suggestion will help you for skin lightening/anti-tanning:-
    • You should maintain a balanced diet.
    • To prevent hydration of skin drink a lot of water during a day.
    • Your diet should contain a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and very low amounts of oily and heavy foods.
    • Wear clothing that covers your arms completely in order to reduce or prevent the effect of tanning.

you should try asian stuff for whitening products since asians are mega obsessed with white skin LOL, i’m asian too and im trying to whiten my skin as well.
maybe shiesido, etude house (korean brand available at chatswood) SK-II or dior white snow. i heard good reviews on the dior white snow but i think its more to the pricey side. But one thing you should know are that whitening products are sometimes and could be dangerous so if you want white skin, its a risk you have to take. um, another thing is, put on plenty of sunscreen and that should also do some prevention for any further tanning.
i also want white skin !:L

Hey Muskin, so glad you are liking Fair and Lovely. Did your underarms improve? Mine not so much, but I love it on my face!

I am keen to give Clinique derma white a go, it is so pricey, anybody tried it? Palmers also has an Eventone range which I love to try too.
I am Indian as well and hear you about tanning. I use almond meal on my face after sun exposure. It kind of brightens and gently scrubs away the tan.
