Singles or pallets?

What do you most commonly buy?
Single eyeshadow colours or pallets?
If you do buy pallets do you get the mega ones or the size that has 4 -10 different shades?
I love eyeshadows so have a combination of both, but am interested in what others do.I love the ease of using a one stop pallet but I love the colours of single shadows. I have all the 88 pallets but find them a bit big to use easily…what do you all think?

I don’t really own any palettes, I have a few compact type eyeshadows (which I suppose classify as a small palette) with a few different colours plus blush and lip colours, they are great because the colours complement each other, but most of my eyeshadows are singles, like mineral pigments (EDM, Shespace, NYX etc). I like singles, especially the minerals you buy from the USA, because they are so cheap I can splash out and buy some colours I would not normally wear, and have some fun playing with different colours!

I like palettes and getting colours that compliment each other all at once 🙂 I do buy singles, but only if I reaaaaallly love the colour.

I prefer pallettes… and I actually have depotted 90% of my singles and put them in a magnetic palette And then if I want to mix and match colorus to go away, i can just switch whats in the palette i’m taking. 🙂

I have palettes. I mainly get the quads or the trios.I find the ones with colours that suit me and I know that I will use all the colours in it. Seen the Coastal Scents/88 palettes, but think they are too big for me! Couldn’t think what to do with all those colours! Although, I sometimes buy a single shade if I fall in love with it.

I usually buy palettes i like to get contrasting colours.
just a random question but how do you start a topic?

I answered this for someone the other day.
At the top of the forums page you have four options; Recent activity, New topics, Hot topics and All forums.
Click on All forums then all forum groups will be listed, then you pick a group in which your new topic best belongs in such as ‘skincare’. Once you are in the group you will see ‘new topic’ in the top left hand corner.
    Good luck.

Palettes for sure. Much better for getting your money’s worth and you get a better variety. Having a single for each colour you like just takes up way too much room. I have a few different ones with up to 15 colours from misc. brands.

I have a mixture… The good thing with Shiseido is you can make your own pallettes which I love…
But overall I think I have an equal amount of singles and pallettes… Singles are good when you really want one colour and like it… Sometimes you only use one colour of a pallette. But then pallettes are fab for handbags and travelling in stead of having like 4 little pots hahhaha…

I usually only get pigments in singles, otherwise I have mainly quads and some small palettes. I have one large palette though so pretty much all of the colours I need are covered with that, only would I buy more for different finishes now 🙂

I prefer palettes…and have been loving coastal scents (their shipping isnt that bad). I have the 88 matte and i use it on a daily basis as well as their blush palette. although i probably only use the neutral colours the most from the 88 palette but its still very reasonably priced. the bright pinks and blues i use on halloween so they do get used 🙂

also they are quite pigmented and blend easily.

I have my eyes set on the BH cosmetics has the 120 palette but shipping is quite exxy on their website.
