SHE red rice range

I noticed in Priceline the other day that SHE has brought out a red rice range that looks very similar to the locctane range, with a cleanser, toner, exfoliating powder and moisturiser. But obviously the price is a lot cheaper! Has anyone tried it??
I love derma’s microfoliant but am always on the lookout for a cheaper alternative…

I am glad the product worked so well for you I am so keen to try the range but unfortunately I have dry skin, not combination 🙁

Hey Beautybabe111, you could still try the exfoliating powder in the range. Irregardless of skin type, I believe we still need to exfoliate.

Oh thanks Sttropez, as for corn starch it doesn’t clog ur pores?? What’s the texture like? I know that L’occitane feels a bit funny

    Hi Annyex,

Actually, the texture feels very silky and fine. No pore clogging. My skin feels so soft and silky. I get quite a few compliments on how well my skin looks.

    Hi,

I have bought their Red Rice Skin Care range and I have to say, I love, love, love it.

    Here’s my review:
Exfoliating Powder: Since Annyex’s question, I have googled corn starch and most “natural” skin care use it to replace talc. Not only that, it has been proven to treat people with sensitive skin and redness. I rate the product 10/10. I used to use the L’Ocitane Red Rice Exfoliating Powder but I have to say, I have found SHE Red Rice Exfoliating Powder a much better alternative and I love the smell of the fresh Bergamot essential oil they use.

Toner: The Toner helps to minimize my pores and keeps my face matt longer.

Cleanser: I have T-zone combination skin. My acne has cleared up since I used the cleanser. It also doesn’t dry out my skin and my skin feels more balanced and the dry area are not flaky after washing. I use it to remove light makeup as well and it seems to work!

Mattifying lotion: I use that for mositurizer and sun screen. My skin has stayed moisturised and matt for longer.

    I strongly recommend the range!

Hi Ladies – I have just used the exfoliating powder – wow ! My skin has the most fabulous glow to it, not at all red or sensitive. So far, absolutely loving this product ! I am really impressed.

I’m keen to try out that exfoliating powder too… but might just do as Dr G suggested and head to my kitchen and test out some rice flour just for the sake of satisfying my curiosity 🙂

I checked it out on their website a few days ago and decided to go get it today! I needed a new toner so I got their Red Rice toner. I saw their promotion of buy $20 and get a 12pce brushe set free so I decided to get their Red Rice Mattifying Lotion as well, just for the brush set haha!
I used the toner after my face wash and it felt nice –very light yet left my skin feeling clean and fresh. It’s only been day one so I can’t say it has any long lasting effects.
As for the mattifying face lotion, I haven’t tried it yet, I’m currently finishing my old moisturiser. I tried it on my hand at the store and it really does mattify. Dries to a matte finish so it looks promising!

    Hi cathy:)
How are the brushes? are they soft?

    Please review a little!! =]
