I love rose hip oil – thank you to BH beauties for recommending it to me! My skin has never been so soft and it has gotten the oil production on my face under control!

One question though…..The other day I received the samples from Kosmea and their rose hip oil was a lot darker in colour than my Sukin one. They are both meant to be organic and 100% but I dont understand why the huge colour difference? The Sukin one is more yellow whereas the Kosmea one is really dark orange.

Has anyone else realised a huge difference between the different brands and their rose hip oils?

Spmg, I agree about the smell, it`s pretty off-putting but after a while you get used to it. It`s so amazing that I`m willing to put up with bad smell 😀

I still have quite oily skin, but its not as bad as it used to be. So far i am not breaking out from putting some in my moisturiser, which is good 🙂 I use the kosema one, and the smell isn`t to bad actually.

I just started using Sukin`s Rosehip oil about a week ago. One of my aunties bought it because it was said to help with skin pigmentation issues (?) and I was told by my mum, and heard from a lot of other people that it was also good for fading acne scars.

Some people use rosehip oil by rubbing it onto their whole face but because I still have pimples and oily skin already, I only apply it onto small problem areas because apparently the “”fatty oils”” can cause breakouts.

I also dilute it with a tiny bit of water and pretty much use one to two drops each time after my shower. Having my face a bit damp (just not completely dry) is supposed to help it to be absorbed.

My observations – it seems to have taken away some of the redness from the pimple scars, but not completely sure…

(It smells like playdough to me.. )

I have stretch marks too (I blame myself for eating too much cheese when I was growing!). I`m really interested in trying this rose hip oil everyone is talking about.

Really gives me soft smooth skin but can cause extra pimples

I guess it makes sense that Rosehip oil is good for healing as it is high in vit C. It can be used with vit E oil (popped from a capsule for maximum potency).

Vit C derived from rosehips & vit E oil capsules as dietary supplements will help in a two-pronged approach to better skin.

I just started using rose-hip oil a week ago, morning and night, and I think it has really helped even out my skin. I had a few red marks and scars and they have lightened so much faster, my dry flaky patches are disappearing, and I`m getting a lovely glow 🙂 I`m hooked.
