Purple GHD…Can’t Wait!

Bluerose i completely afree. The new purple GHD looks the best! I love the pattern on it, its not just plain and boring! Glad to hear you like what it does for you = )

It`s just old and has been used heaps – don`t know whether the heating element (or whatever they have) starts to go – I just don`t get that shiny smooth finish anymore, my hair kind of goes slightly fuzzy. The purple is lighter in weight than my old pink one, and works beautifully!

aww i so want the purple , but i just got the pure black one (all black n black plates), cant have two ..unless i grow another head lol .. i have never heard of them `loosing ` effectiveness blue rose.

UPDATE: I just got back from doing some jobs at work and my bosses have bought me a purple GHD as my end of year present!!!

As Elmo said the models are pretty much the same, the newer ones have newer technology than the original models, but who wants a plain old black one when you can have purple! I`m sure there are other straighteners which are equally effective, it`s just that GHD is synonymous with hair straightening, kind of like Kleenex with tissues…

I just ordered one from my hairdresser, I can`t wait for the call from them to say they are in stock! My pink model (breast cancer fund raiser about 3 years old) is ready for retirement, I`ll pass it on to my youngest sister who has naturally straight hair that just needs a bit of de-frizzing from time to time. I`ll bet you can`t wait to use your daughter`s apricot!

is there much difference between the models? Or is GHD just generally known as the “”goddess”” of all straighteners? 🙂 My hair is also naturally straight and I always wanted to buy one for the curling.

I love the colour and i wish i could get it too but it`s not really necessary for me as i have natural straight hair and it`s a little expensive for me =[
