MY UNCLE JUST WON THE ‘Pride of Australia’ Environmental AWARD!!!!

There are few things more pitiful than the sight of magnificent wedge-tailed eagles injured and threatened by man’s activities. Just ask Craig Webb. Since establishing his Raptor and Wildlife Refuge at Kettering – which boasts the biggest and highest aviary in the Southern Hemisphere – Webb has been responsible for the recovery and release of countless forgotten victims, from the mighty eagles to the tiniest bandicoots.

Please help him by donating to the eagles, becoming a yearly member, purchasing a beautiful eagle calender or adopting an eagle.

    Oh that’s right the awards are on tonight. Is it going to be shown on TV? Am interested to see who else won.

    It is wonderful that there are such dedicated people who are saving our wildlife. I love eagles, they are beautiful birds. I like your story about his ute lol 🙂

    He is. I was in Tassie a few months ago. We went out for dinner for my Granddads 70th bday. He offers us a lift to the shops before he goes to rescue an eagle stuck in an orchard…. Anyways I look in the back of his ute, and I see a dead kinda flat possum in the tray.. He says ‘oh I picked it up for the eagles’ (he has a licence to do this:) Come on, hop in!…. Next thing I say: “nah thanks, I dont know what is under the seat.”….. Needless to say I walked…

    He is amazing. He set it up himself, he gets no money from it, all of the donations (100%) is put towards medicine and care for the eagles.

    He has to work as a concreter occassionally to buy his own food, clothes etc.
